Press Sample of the Zoya Nail Polish
Fall 2020 | Luscious
I still can’t believe how fast this year is flying by. It’s already almost mid October. So much took place this year and it feels like 2020 has lasted 10 years already. Nick has a work project he’s been dealing with, so I’m up late (weird couple thing… we go to bed at the same time and if one is working on something, the other stays up with them… it’s been like this for 11 years)
So while I wait – I’m going to share my swatches of the Zoya Nail Polish Fall 2020 Luscious Collection with you!
Total Fall vibes.
So this 12 piece collection consists of 7 cremes, 3 shimmers and 2 metallics. Zoya’s cremes are pretty much still some of my go-to’s in general so I’m always happy to see those arrive. What did surprise me is that my namesake polish has been redone and it’s still the same color family – but a whole new polish.
Let’s jump in and look.
Zoya Nail Polish | Lisa
Okay we’re gonna start with my namesake polish cause I can do that.
When I first got into polish after having acrylics for 15 or so years, Zoya had a sale for (I think) Halloween in 2011. I bought Lisa. It was my namesake and it was a pretty, shiny red – so I went for it. The original Lisa was released in 2010 with the Fire and Ice Collection and it was a metallic candied raspberry red with microflecks.
The new Lisa is a rich, cool toned garnet red creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Which Lisa do I like best? New Lisa. I liked the old one, but this shade is perfect for my skin tone and I love how rich it is.
Zoya Nail Polish | Wanda
Wanda is a cool toned candy pink crelly base with gold and iridescent micro fleck shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Teresa
Teresa is a medium almost plummy purple creme with pinkish purple metallic shimmer. The shimmer is visible but on the subtle side. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Bentley
Bentley is a deep grape creme, but it has a strong fuchsia like tone to it. It’s not straight grape, there is a vibrancy to it. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Sharon
Sharon is a pink leaning berry creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Andrea
Andrea is a deep navy blue base loaded with metallic blue to violet shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is one of my favorites and the shift is really nice and prominent.
Zoya Nail Polish | Lou
Lou is a slightly dusty, dark cerulean blue creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Mel
Mel is a muted forest green creme. In the bottle it looked more olive leaning, so I was surprised when I applied it and it turned darker. I’m not complaining though, I’m not a huge fan of olive. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Soleil
Soleil is a warm coppery metallic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Tasha
Tasha is a dark chocolate brown metallic with coppery flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Tommy
Tommy is a greyed out, pale blue creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Nail Polish | Patrice
Patrice is a semi sheer mauve crelly base with iridescent and gold micro shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I was fairly surprised at how sheer this shade was. It built up – but if you have a really opaque nail line, it might show through a little.
Zoya Nail Polish Fall 2020 | Luscious
There we have it – Zoya’s Fall selection! The cremes win for me in this set, primarily Lisa (I’m biased), Bentley, Sharon and Lou. Andrea isn’t far behind either.
