Zoya’s Fall 2013 PixieDusts have released and I couldn’t wait to get to swatching them! Feels like we JUST got into Summer colors, but it is that time again for the Fall!
The Fall PixieDusts bring us a mix of some darker shades as well as some brighter ones, but all 6 are really gorgeous. I have some instant favorites (I didn’t even need to put them on to know they would be favorites either) and I can’t say I was disappointed with any of the Fall colors in this collection.
Take a look!
Carter:
Carter is my top pick for the collection! A gorgeous dark purple with vivid pink sparkle within. 2 coats and no top coat. I’m a purple fanatic, so of course this one was my #1!

Tomoko:
My second top pick! A beautiful champagne shade with a bling effect. I wore this one to a birthday party I took my son to on Friday and it got a TON of compliments from the other mommies. In the sunlight it’s AMAZING. I only needed 2 coats.
Closeup:
Arabella:
Arabella is a rich fuchsia texture polish. I actually almost had to buy a replacement of this baby. I thought I screwed the lid on after swatching and went to grab the lid to take the picture and SURPRISE! it wasn’t screwed on. I fumbled it and it dropped, but luckily – not a drop spilled. Again, 2 coats, perfect application.
Closeup:
Dhara:
Dhara is the bright fiery orange with pops of gold sparkle. 2 coats of perfection!
Closeup:
Sunshine:
I didn’t find this name to fit the polish. When I hear the name Sunshine for a polish I think a bright, vivid orange or yellow. Sunshine is a navy blue with silver sparkle. Definitely a Fall shade! This was almost a 1 coat polish! I used 2 coats, but if in a hurry, I probably could have pulled off only 1 coat.

Chita:
Chita was a surprise favorite! I don’t tend to care for greens, but this is a beautiful forest green with silver sparkle. Another gorgeous Fall shade, and this one was also close to being a 1 coat polish, although I did use 2 coats for this photo.

Overall, another stunning collection from Zoya! All 6 were done in 2 coats. If you aren’t into textures yet (I am noticing more and more people warming up to them) then add a thick top coat and you still get a wonderfully sparkly polish.
My top picks? Carter, Tomoko and Chita!
Zoya PixieDusts retail for $9.00 each, or buy the full set for $54.00 (which still breaks down to 9 each, but shipping would be free)
