Weird Indeed Nail Polish Swatches and Review
Indie Nail Polish makers are popping up all over the place and I LOVE it! Recently I spotted Weird Indeed and they had Friends themed nail polish! Of course I had to get a few! I was addicted to that show while it was out and I never NEVER missed an episode. Ever. Besides the theme of some of the polishes, I loved the fact that Weird Indeed carried some glitter filled beauties as well as some solid colors with a splash of shimmer. I have a few swatches of these lovelies today for your viewing pleasure!
First up we have Pivot! This one was named after the Friends Episode : The One With the Cop (Season 5, Episode 16)
Pivot is described as a bright teal cream with white and blue holo glitter! Isn’t this gorgeous?? Pivot was hard to photograph and came out a little brighter in the photos than it really is (it has more blue in it), but Pivot is BEAUTIFUL! One of my favorites. The quality of Pivot was amazing as well, I had no application issues and it was opaque in 2 coats!
The lovely Betty of Shifting Paradigms Photography helped out with photoshop to get the photo closer to the color than a camera would take (some colors really are just that tricky and I’m photoshop illiterate) so this is MUCH closer to the actual color in normal lighting! Thank you Betty!
Next up is On A Break, I think everyone knows which episode this was named after. The One Where Ross and Rachel Take a Break (Season 3, Episode 15)
On A Break is a lovely violet purple cream with gold micro glitter and very subtle purple holo glitter. Another beauty with no application issues, 2 coats and looks amazing in the sun!
My third polish I have to show you from Weird Indeed is not from the Friends series. This one is Daria & Jane! This is named after the show Daria which use to air on MTV!
Daria & Jane is described as a dark purple jelly with lots of red glitter and mulit-colored hex glitters. I love way this polish looks and I’m a HUGE fan of jellies! Daria & Jane applied beautifully and I used 3 coats to complete the mani. The glitter sat well in the jelly base and I didn’t have to manipulate the glitter or anything in order to get it to lay flat. It was also very smooth to the touch without a top coat! LOVE!
Weird Indeed is a new Indie seller and you can find her lovely polishes on her Facebook Page Shop. Not all of her colors are stocked at the moment, but I’m sure they will be soon. Each polish retails for $8.00!
I also have Pheebs (from Friends of course!) But I haven’t swatched that lovely yet, I will soon though!

Awesome! I had ordered Pivot and On a Break so I am excited to see more swatches :) They look just as pretty as I thought they would! As my indie polish collection is growing more and more I’m finding that I’m really starting to gravitate towards more of the subtle pretty ones rather than the in-your-face glitter bombs (which I also love). Pheebs is on my list of wants but wasn’t available when I ordered… I guess great minds think alike ;)
I’m going to swatch Pheebs soon! It’s so pretty in the bottle! You will LOVE Pivot and On a Break when you get them! They look just as good in the bottle as they do on your hands!!
i want the light blue one the most
