Happy Wednesday! I’m trying to stay cool tonight since we’ve been in the high 90s to low 100s for a couple days, and I wasn’t ready for this kind of heat yet. We are supposed to get some rain on Saturday and I think it said high of 73 – so I’m looking forward to that.

Tonight we’ll be looking at the Vapid Lacquer Reckless Trio!

The Vapid Lacquer Reckless Trio is a trio of fairly bright colors with a nice touch of shimmer. The trio will be available for preorder starting this Friday.

Since they are preorder, there will be no cap to how many you can purchase.

All of these can stamp and watermarble. Unfortunately due to time constraints I didn’t have time to test these, but The Polished Mage did watermarble with them and One Hundred Brushes did stamp with them – so I do know they work.

Let’s jump right in and take a look.

Vapid Lacquer | Volatility

I don’t know why – but I am having so much trouble typing out the name to this one. I know what it is, my brain tells me the letters to type (believe it or not, spelling is something I’m generally pretty damn good at) but I’m still not typing it right and I don’t know why my fingers refuse to listen to my brain.

Volatility is a vibrant hot pink creme base loaded with bright magenta pink shimmer. This isn’t a neon pink, but it is bright enough to toe the border of neon without actually being neon. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Toxic

Toxic is a bright almost Spring like green creme base with golden green shimmer. I did notice brushstrokes with application on this one, and it’s the only one of the 3 I experienced it with. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Mayhem

Finally we have Mayhem. Mayhem is a bright, but slightly dusty, medium blue with aqua shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Reckless Trio

All 3 shades were fully opaque in just 2 coats. As I mentioned – they do watermarble and stamp as well – so it’s a versatile trio. My favorite is Mayhem.
