October 2020 Release

Things have been super busy here, but… it’s keeping me busy which is really good. Tonight I have the Vapid Lacquer October 2020 Release to share and I’m a little behind since it’s launching now (about 20 minutes ago by the time I’m done typing!)

So Vapid Lacquer is bringing back some old favorites as well as some brand new goodies for this launch. There will actually be 10 shades total, but 2 I do not have to share – but I did share them previously (6533 & Phoenix Feathers) but we will also see the return of Firestarter, Let’s Summon Demons, Fall AF and Sweaters & Denim. The newbies are Reaper, Kindred, Anthocyanin and Possession.

We’re on a time crunch and the launch has begun… so lets take a look.

Vapid Lacquer | Fire Starter

Fire Starter is a deep, sultry red with golden shimmer that makes this polish glow. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Let’s Summon Demons

Let’s Summon Demons is a purple to magenta to rose gold to copper to green ultrachrome. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Fall AF

Fall AF is a medium grey crelly with red to copper to green iridescent flakes and a soft, scattered holo effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Before moving, I did my blog sale and I sold the original – so I don’t know how this compares.

Vapid Lacquer | Sweaters & Denim

Another fan favorite – Sweaters & Denim is back! This is a denim blue (cold) to warm beige (hot) crelly with copper shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Reaper

This is the shade that I was like ‘Hot Damn” when I saw the holo. It’s super strong in person.

Reaper is a black jelly base with a strong linear holographic and it has a strong bronzy flame to it which adds a nice depth. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Kindred

Kindred is a slightly different shade. It’s a cross between a pumpkin spice like shade and rose gold. I wouldn’t classify it as either one – but a perfect union of the two. Plus it has linear holo to round it out.

So that’s my official description – pumpkin goldish. I used 3 thin coats and glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Anthocyanin

Easily my favorite of the new shades! Anthocyanin is a pink leaning red jelly base with red to gold to green shimmer that makes it glowy. I used 3 thin coats ad a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Possession

Possession is a new thermal and it’s a deep blurple grey (cold) to lavender tinged pink (hot) with icy blue shimmer laced throughout. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
