May 2019 Release

Good morning and happy Saturday! I have a whirlwind of posts for everyone today, and I’m kicking the morning off with the Vapid Lacquer May 2019 Release!

The polish portion of this release consists of 5 shades. 4 are brand new to the Vapid family and 1 has come back to grace us with her presence.

There will also be 3 lip glosses being added – and those photos will be coming soon, so check out the Vapicorns group for those!

Vapid Lacquer | Drunk Yoga 2019

Drunk Yoga is back in all it’s glory! Krys was able to get her hands on the original pigment and flakes to recreate this much loved shade. This will be the final restock of Drunk Yoga.

Drunk Yoga is a deep, cool toned purple jelly base loaded with green to violet flakes and purple holo glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Heathen

Heathen is a grape based shade with an ultra chrome shift that swings from purple, magenta, blue to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Deviant

In the bottle – Heathen and Deviant look damn near identical. On the nail, you can see a difference.

Deviant is a berry purple base with a a green to blue, red to magenta-violet to golden orange at extreme angles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Introspection

Introspection is a softer, golden shade with blue to purple shifting microflakes. It has an almost foil like finish without the completely metallic feel. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Contemplation

Contemplation is a slightly dusty, medium sky blue creme with a red to gold to green iridescent shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | May 2019 Release

There are the 5 shades releasing on May 31st! I never had a chance to grab Drunk Yoga, so I’m happy it’s back one more time. This is the final restock for Drunk Yoga though, so grab it while you can. I don’t know how many are being made though – so if you want it – grab it, check out and go back for more.

My top picks from this release are: Deviant, Drunk Yoga and Contemplation.

Along with these 5 shades, there will be 3 new Lip Gloss shades – Tease, Introspection and French Press. We will also see 2 new flavors of Lip Balm and there will be Body Cream, Sugar Scrubs, Body Bars, Body Mists, Nail Sauce, Cold Press Soaps and a TON of skincare – including Maracuja Oil.

Thee will be favorite scents returning as well as some new ones.
