Late February 2020 Release

Hey hey! It’s been a bit since I’ve posted and it’s just been a busy month. My son turned 14 on February 17th and I was busy planning his birthday party and then also prepping for March’s Polish Pickup shop, as well as tax season kicking into full gear.

It’s been a busy, short month.

Tonight I have the Vapid Lacquer Late February 2020 Release to share!

It’s a small release of just 2 polishes. Short and sweet. It is February – which is Krys’ birthday month, and she brought back the original Birthday Bitch, and I don’t think I ever had the original. I have a couple versions, but I don’t believe I ever got my paws on this one. We also have a new thermal!

Vapid Lacquer | Birthday Bitch 2020

Birthday Bitch 2020 is a turquoise crelly base with pink to gold to green shifting ultra chrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Naturally it dries down to an almost satin like finish (not quite matte, but not really glossy)

This is the original recipe of Birthday Bitch, and supplies are limited – so Krys had to cap this at 250 bottles.

Vapid Lacquer | Hustle & Cuss

Hustle & Cuss is a deep chocolate brown (cold) to orange leaning red (warm) creme thermal. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Most of the time, the cold phase showed deep chocolate brown for me, but in extreme cold it does appear more black. I use an ice pack to chill the tips for the transition photos and it does look darker – but more often, I did see it as dark chocolate brown.

This dries to a matte finish naturally so I used top coat to make it shine.

I am happy to own the original formula of Birthday Bitch, but I really enjoy the new thermal as well. Krys has been putting out a lot of thermals in the last few months and I don’t think she’ll be letting up any time soon.
