Happy (early) Saturday! This morning I will be sharing the Vapid Lacquer February 2023 Release.. and since it’s February – that means it’s Krys’ BIRTHDAY MONTH!
These 4 shades are set to release on February 18th (today!) at 3pm Central. Along with these 4 polishes there will also be 9 bath and body scents released, some new and some returning scents. This month there is a fruity/sweet theme going on with bath and body.

Let’s jump right in and take a closer look at all 4. Since Krys is turned 42, two of these polishes are themed after Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy!
Vapid Lacquer | Birthday Bitch ’23
Birthday B!tch ’23 has been revamped again – as you know this is a little different every year but this year Vapid Lacquer went darker. This year it’s a deep teal jelly base loaded with pink to gold to green shimmer, and blue to violet to red to gold ultra chrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | Life, The Universe and Everything
Life, The Universe and Everything is a semi sheer deep purple jelly base with red to gold to copper to green shifting ultra chrome shimmer, as well as red to gold to green iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | Delicate F*cking Flower
Delicate F*cking Flower is a lavender leaning pink jelly base with gold to green shifting shimmer that adds a subtle flash, plus small metallic gold flakes. Theres also an incredibly subtle scattered holo sparkle within it. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | 42
42 is a blue to cyan to purple jelly based multichrome with silver reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | February 2023 Release
My favorite from this is Birthday B!tch ’23, but Life, The Universe and Everything is so shifting and stunning in person… it’s a REALLY close 2nd.
I had no application issues with any of the 4 polishes.
