Happy Thursday everyone! I got up a little early to do this post this morning. It’s been a little hectic here with back to school and the homework load, but things are starting to ease into place. Slowly, but it’s happening. 7th grade homework is no joke.

I have a few posts to do today, but we’re kicking the day off with the Vapid Lacquer Fall 2018 Collection . With this release there will be 7 polishes, including a Dirty version of a fan favorite.

The Vapid Lacquer Fall 2018 Collection captures my favorite qualities of Fall in one collection, but still has some pops of color for those not quite ready to let go of Summer yet.

These will be releasing September 22nd at 1pm CST, so be ready!

Vapid Lacquer | All That Glitters Is…

This shade is Krys’ tribute to Jeff Goldblum! He’s going to be at Comic Con in San Antonio this year, and Krys will be there, so she needed to honor him with a polish.

All That Glitters Is… is a mustard yellow crelly with golden micro flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | When It Rains, It Pours

When It Rains, It Pours is a mid toned, smokey blue creme base with blue and purple shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Oh My Gourd!

Oh My Gourd! is a “power orange” as Delanie dubbed it. This is a mid toned orange jelly base (while jelly, it’s still very opaque and well pigmented)  with golden shimmer flecks packed in.

If you are looking for a “true orange” this is it. It isn’t too red or too yellow – it sits right in the middle at a real orange shade.

Vapid Lacquer | Leaf

Leaf is an interesting green shade. It’s lighter sage green creme, but it has a certain muted quality while still coming off as a sort of bright shade? I can’t describe it but somehow it has both qualities. It’s a simple linear holographic . I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer | Let’s Summon Demons

My favorite Fall scent is now in polish form! Speaking of… Vapid Wax is still open for preorders so you can pick this scent up until the 15th!

Let’s Summon Demons is a multichrome shade, and the predominant color is a deep purple that shifts red to copper to gold, and a touch of green at extreme angles. The first coat looks fairly sheer, but it builds nicely. This is 3 thin coats, but 2 normal coats would work fine as well.

Vapid Lacquer | Fall AF

Fall AF is another Vapid Wax scent available now, and it’s also in polish form!

Fall AF is a medium smokey grey crelly based scattered holographic with iridescent flakes that shift red to copper to gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I did matte photos too but I was sleepy and apparently didn’t edit those photos, so I’ll probably share in the Vapicorns group soon.

Vapid Lacquer | Dark Twisted Fantasies Dirty XXX

Dark Twisted Fantasies got the dirty treatment, and this is perfect for Fall! Dark Twisted Fantasies Dirty is a deep, vampy plum jelly based linear holographic with with additional holographic flakes. I do not have the original (it was before my Vapid time!) so I was happy to see the dirty version come into play. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

There we have it! The Vapid Lacquer Fall 2018 Collection and I’m in love! I’m so in the mood for Fall shades and I love the range of colors and finishes coming out. Most of these would look pretty incredible matte too.

I had no application issues with any of these shades.
