I have an incredible post for you tonight! We’re celebrating a Vapibirthday! I had to split this into two separate posts, and this one will focus on Vapid Lacquer The Cosmos Collection & The Cosmos Dirty Edition. Tomorrow’s post will have an assortment of the bath & body goodies coming as well. Initially I was going to make one GIANT post, but I think it would be a little too photo heavy.
Alright, so we have The Cosmos Collection being rereleased (I missed out the first time!) and then new to the lineup are The Cosmos Collection: The Dirty Edition. We know Krys likes to get things a little dirty, and this was an amazing collection to dirty up.
The Cosmos Collection was initially released during the first Vapibirthday, then rereleased for the second Vapibirthday, but hasn’t come back since. Now Vapid Lacquer is celebrating 4 years – and it’s back again!
So we have the original Cosmos:
And the new Dirty Edition:
All 12 photos are done in 2 coats only, no base color used. Everything you see is 100% the polish shown. I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues peel off base coat, which dries clear and topped each with Vapid Quick Dry Top Coat.
Ready to look? I’m going to show each polish in pairs, first the original Cosmos shade, followed by it’s Dirty counterpart. Then after each I have 1 mani done with both (Dirty on index and middle, regular on ring and pinky fingers.)
Alright, lets do this.

Vapid Lacquer The Cosmos Collection & The Cosmos Dirty Edition Overview
Now that was photo heavy! Now you see why I had to split it up from the bath & body products?
Okay, so all 12 of these are perfection. They went on smooth like butter and have incredible opacity. No base coat is needed at all. It’s hard to say whether I like the originals or the dirty edition shades better, but I do think I’m leaning to the dirty a bit more. All 12 are incredibly shifty and you will stare at your nails wiggling them around for awhile.
Both of these versions of The Cosmos are a limited run. They will only be available for the Vapibirthday Celebration and when they are gone, they will not be restocked this year.
There are more surprises that have yet to be announced, so head over to the Vapid Lacquer Facebook Fan Group to keep an eye on updates. More information will be provided a week before restock.
Release Date: July 15th, 2017 – Time is TBD

Along with these polishes and some other surprises, there will be the following scents available in the bath & body category:
Vapibirthday | Funnel Cake | Cherry Pie (replacing Cherry Snow Cone from last year) | Cotton Candy | Purple Cow | Dreamsicle
These scents will be available in Body Cream, Body Mists, Nail Sauce, Whipped Sugar Scrubs and Wax Melts. I have a large majority of these to share tomorrow with my interpretations of the scent description.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! What are you most excited for?

I’d love to see a comparison of this collection to the DIFFERENT Dimension Extragalactic Collection.
A lot of the pigments are the same for multichromes, so some of these are very close to that collection.
[…] continuing on with the Vapibirthday Celebration! Last night I showed the Cosmos & Cosmos: Dirty Edition collections, and today I have the Vapid Lacquer Vapibirthday Bath & Body […]

Somehow I thought I had the originals around but can’t find them. This is going to get expensive, lol
I must admit I prefer the original Cosmos, just my taste! In my defense though I should add I like all of them!
