Vapid Lacquer | Black Friday 2022
Black Friday 2022 is a magnetic this year, and it’s a black jelly base with red to copper to gold magnetic pigment. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used the zigzag magnet for this mani, and you can find it in the Polish Pickup shop (either during shop or in Basic Essentials)
This polish is ONLY available on Black Friday and it will be in limited quantities. Once it’s sold out it’s gone.
Vapid Lacquer | Frosty AF
Frosty AF was a polish I was kinda “meh” about when opening. I found it pretty – but it didn’t grab my attention like the others. However… applying it.. different story. It ended up being my top pick for the collection.
Frosty AF is a steel grey jelly base with a frosty blue to light violet shifting shimmer and blue and silver reflective glitter. The base and shimmer give it a frosty metallic like look. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | Get Jolly
Get Jolly is a medium, slightly warm, bright red jelly base with red and silver reflective glitters. I used 2 coats, a thin coat of Vapid Lacquer Smooth AF and top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | Happy Freakin’ New Year 2023
This years version of Happy Freakin’ New Year is stunning. It has a silver scattered holo jelly base with silver holo micro bar glitters and gold reflective glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | Here To Sleigh
Here to Sleigh is a warm, plummy purple jelly base loaded with a bronze to gold to silvery taupe magnetic pigment. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I did notice some small pigment chunks within this shade when I received it. I did let Krys know and she will be making sure it will be mixed better for the customer batch so that isn’t an issue. It isn’t super noticeable but enough that I needed to let her know.
Vapid Lacquer | Totally Flocked
Totally Flocked is a medium green jelly base loaded with green and silver reflective glitters. I used 2 coats, a thin coat of Vapid Lacquer Smooth AF and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer | Up To Snow Good
Up To Snow Good is a medium blue jelly base with pink to blue to green shifting shimmer and matching iridescent flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This polish does have a slight skunky smell due to the blue pigment. The smell dissipates once dry and it’s not super strong but it is there.
Vapid Lacquer | Black Friday 2022 Release
I really enjoy this release. Frosty AF is my top pick of the release, followed by HFNY, Black Friday and Get Jolly.
I had no application issues other than the pigment I noticed in Here To Sleigh which Krys will be correcting.
