I have some of these goodies to share with you ( Dragon Eggs, Sea Glass, Body Mists & the 2 newest Sugar Scrubs) Some of the items I’ve received in the past, and I’ll be adding them to this post if I hadn’t done a post on them previously.

I can already tell you I’ll personally be picking up Trash Can Punch Whipped Sugar Scrub. That stuff is life.

Let’s jump right in. We’ll look at polishes first!

Dragon Eggs

Dragon Eggs is a pink leaning orchid violet creme loaded with ultra chrome shifting flakes in pink, purple, blue and gold.  I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sea Glass

Sea Glass is a pale peachy pink neutral creme loaded with  ultra chrome shifting flakes in pink, purple, blue and gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Now the body products!

Quiet Morning 

Quiet Morning is black tea, bergamot and hints of marshmallow. On first whiff, it kind of smells like baby powder, and when it dries down you get the tea and marshmallow scents. It’s interesting and definitely a light scent. To me it’s the lightest one Vapid has made so far.

Hard Candy 

Hard Candy is fresh citrus and fruits with a sugary sweet scent. You’ll know this if you picked up the whipped sugar scrub a few releases ago (the January release)

Trash Can Punch

You have no idea how excited I was to see Trash Can Punch in body mist form! I already went through my tub of Whipped Sugar Scrub and love the scent so much! If I was greedy I’d buy a backup during this release, but I don’t want to take away from others. Plus I have a lot of Body Mists from Vapid I rotate through, so I’ll be good and hope it releases again later.

Trash Can Punch is a blend of fresh bananas, kiwi, strawberries, pineapple, bubble gum and hints of vanilla. Reminds me of a tropical sherbet.

This scent will be available in Body Mist as well as Whipped Sugar Scrub

Unicorn Milk

While I do love Trash Can Punch, Unicorn Milk is my favorite Body Mist scent from this release. Unicorn Milk is a blend of sweet strawberries, ripe peaches and frosting. Reminds me of a light strawberry milk. I personally don’t smell the peach very much – but we all interpret things different. This is a great daily scent though.

Capistrano

Capistrano is a beachy scent! Sweet oranges, driftwood, salt, ozone and gardenia. My boyfriend says it smells like salty sunscreen, but he said it totally reminds him of the beach. I agree with the beach part. It completely reminds me of vacation beaches!

This scent will be available in Body Mist as well as Whipped Sugar Scrub

Candy Clouds

Candy Clouds is described as tart lemon zest and sweet lemon curd, a dollop of vanilla, and a whole cloud of cotton candy. To me it smells like a mellow fruity lemonade. I’ve gone through a good amount of this body mist (I’ve had it since the initial release)

This scent will be available in Body Mist as well as Whipped Sugar Scrub

Vapid Lacquer August 2017 Release Overview

This is a smaller release, but Vapid has some amazing things coming (especially for Halloween!) so she kept this one short and sweet.

To be fair, Vapid does ask that each person only buy 1 of each polish. She wants people to have a fair shot at getting their hands on Dragon Eggs and Sea Glass. If there are enough left when it comes close to shipping time – you can place another order (shipping is always combined if they are addressed to the same name and address, and shipping overages will be refunded)

While the buying limit is only on the polishes, please be mindful of the bath and body goodies as well since they are limited too. The bath and body goodies have a more probably chance of being restocked in the future.
