Valentine’s Day Made Easy With LUSH Cosmetics

It’s always nice to receive chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s Day, but why not make it a little more personal with some Valentine’s Day goodies from LUSH?

Love Locket

Love Locket is the special Bath Bomb for Valentine’s Day!  This baby is HUGE and actually is enough for 3 uses.  You can break this bath bomb in half, plus the yellow center is another bath bomb all on its own!  The outside layer is speckled with paper hearts that will float out to the surface of the pink water, and the hidden center releases a smattering of shiny red agar seaweed hearts to create a spectacular bath time display.

The scent of Love Locket is a blend of vanilla, jasmine and neroli essential oils to make this a relaxing and sensual bath bomb.

Neon Love Soap

Neon Love Soap is another new offering for 2014!  This is a gorgeous pink soap with white heart shapes within it (my heart got cut off a bit!).  A new perfume was blended for this bar, and includes citrusy bergamot, rosewood and spicy cinnamon leaf oil.  Definitely a different scent and if I hadn’t read the description, I would not have been able to full identify the scents within.  This is a great unisex soap scent.

Prince Charming Shower Gel

A new shower gel?!  YES!  I have to stock up on more of Prince Charming because I absolutely love this scent.  Why does it have to be limited edition?

Fresh pomegranate juice and grapefruit oil cleanse the skin while their bright, energetic scents help wake you up on early mornings. Add to that a blend of Fair Trade vanilla pod infusion, skin-softening marshmallow root and almond oil, and you’re in for royally soft, moisturized skin all over.

Prince Charming isn’t an overly sweet smelling shower gel.  It has sweeter notes, but the fruity notes give it a slight edge that helps balance it.

Tender Is The Night Massage Bar

Massage Bars by LUSH are really just a thing of beauty.  I always have a couple at home.  I use one as lotion after I shave my legs, I have another that my boyfriend and I use as an actual massage bar when my back is hurting and then I have another as a hand/arm lotion when I need it.

Tender Is The Night is made with vanilla absolute, jasmine absolute and ylang ylang oil. This sensual shea and murumuru butter bar is made with an aeration technique that allows the butters to melt easily onto skin for a smooth, tender massage.  The scent of this is amazing, I need a matching perfume for it.  It’s very light and delicate.

The Kiss Lip Balm

The Kiss Lip Balm gives your lips a hint of color (think a ‘my lips but better’ shade) with a touch of gloss for a moist pout.   The Kiss is vegan and preservative free! The whipped buttery base of Fair Trade shea and cupuacu melt on to soften and hydrate lips while almond and organic mandarin oils bring lip-smacking flavor.  This has a sweet smell to it and it tastes slightly sweet as well!  The Kiss also contains guarana seed powder, which is a natural lip plumper!
