Fall 2016 Collections
Tonight I have kind of a 2 in 1 post for you! I will be showing you the Tux Polish Fall 2016 Collections!
Basically Tux Polish released a holographic trio as well as a 5 piece classic creme collection for Fall 2016 and since both collections make up her Fall lineup – I made them into 1 post.
Let’s start this post off with the stunning holos! The holographic shades make up the Tux Polish Apple Orchard Trio.
Granny Smith
Granny Smith is a bright green linear holographic with gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Orange Pippin
Orange Pippin is a bright, medium orange linear holographic with gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Red Delicious
Red Delicious is my favorite of the trio! This is a stunning red linear holographic with added red shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Now we will move onto the 5 lovely creme shades that make up the Fall Classic Cremes Collection!
Autumn Air
Autumn Air is a stunning teal creme. This leans a bit more green than my photo shows. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I did not experience any staining with this shade (teals are known for it, so I like to mention when I see any discoloring)
Cranberry Salsa
Cranberry Salsa is a stunning berry pink creme. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fall Fest
Fall Fest is my #1 top pick of all 8 shades I’m showing you tonight. This beautiful creme is a slightly red toned, bright orange creme that has a dusty quality to it that gives it the look of being a Summer or Fall polish. When I put it on, I actually wore it for a few days and loved it. It’s not eye searingly bright, but it’s also not getting into the darker Fall tones we’ve been seeing.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Onyx
Onyx is a jet black creme. I personally do really thin coats when I paint my nails, but even with thin coats, this one was a nicely opaque black. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat, but if you use normal coats, I’m almost positive this would have been a one coat polish.
School Daze
The final shade in the Fall lineup is School Daze! This is a dusty purple creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Tux Polish Fall 2016 Collections
I am really happy with this collection as a whole. The holos are really nice and done in some real fall-esque colors. All 8 shades are richly pigmented and apply really well. The cremes have a slightly thicker formula, but not thick and goopy. They apply easily in 2 coats and most actually seem like you can get away with 1 medium to thick coat. They are probably perfect candidates for stamping, and I do plan on trying that out soon. I actually got mad at my stamper the other week while testing other items, and it’s sitting in a corner right now thinking about what it’s done. When time out is over, I will definitely try these out.
As I said, the cremes are thicker, but more along the lines of ‘stamping polish thick’ and not “Ewww did I leave the lid loose?” thick. They spread nicely and were very well done in some nice Fall shades.
If you can only buy 1 polish this week though, get Fall Fest. You’ll love it.

Stunning collection! Love that red especially.
So many pretty shades. I’m such a nail polish nut that I want them all.
They are all lovely–you are truly a mani expert!
I was going to try to pick a couple, but they are all so good.
