Trio for Crystal’s Charity Lacquers

Happy Saturday! This last couple of weeks FLEW by for me and my mind is all over the place. Can’t believe the year is going by so fast, seems like we were JUST celebrating the new year and now here we are in June. Today, I have a special trio to share with you – the Turtle Tootsie Polishes Trio for Crystal’s Charity Lacquers.

Crystal’s Charity Lacquers has been involved in charity runs for a number of years. She started Crystal’s Charity Lacquers last April after contacting a handful of brands with the idea of creating custom or one of a kind polishes that would be given away to people who supported her fundraising through donations. She was overwhelmed by the brand support and on June 5th, she launched the group, Crystal’s Charity Lacquers, to the public. The first two events were fundraising giveaways benefiting the SPCA and The Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research. The success of those giveaways was beyond anything Crystal’s Charity Lacquers had hoped or dreamed and it brought her to tears of gratitude more than once. After the giveaways wrapped, she wanted to keep momentum in the group going until the next giveaway (which will be this Spring!) and launched the monthly sales, each benefiting a different charity.

Crystal’s Charity Lacquers will be working with Turtle Tootsie Polishes this month for this fundraiser! They have created three beautiful custom polishes for the group, which will benefit The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes chose The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research because her grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the early 90’s and struggled through the disease until 2005 when he passed away.

This trio of polishes have names related to Michael J. Fox. He has been a television icon and I absolutely love him. I use to LOVE the movie The Secret to My Success and of course classics like Back To The Future. I also liked his role in Boston Legal.

DeLorean

DeLorean is a silvery chrome with blue micro flakes mixed in. The blue flecks give the silver finish a bluish tone. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Marty McFly

Marty McFly is a pale dove grey creme scattered holographic with delicate pink shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alex P. Keaton is a medium dark grey creme scattered holographic with purple micro flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
