 Turtle Tootsie Polishes is on the blog today with a collection that released yesterday. This is the Breast Cancer Awareness collection and it consists of 4 pink polishes and 2 glitter toppers. 2 of the shades within this collection were also in the Pamper Me Pink Box collab done with Handmade Natural Beauty.

All 6 shades in the collection will have a special pink ribbon printed on the labels and all have a breast cancer referenced name. Turtle Tootsie Polishes will also be donating a portion of each bottle sold to The American Cancer Society. I will have a breakdown of donation amounts at the bottom of this post for those interested.

Perseverance

Perseverance is a medium bubblegum pink creme with a subtle scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat. The consistency of this shade reminded me of a crelly and the first 2 coats left a little opacity but the third coat gave perfect coverage.

Fight Light A Girl

Fight Like A Girl is probably my favorite of the group. This is a pale pink with a delicate iridescent, silver and pink shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Survival

Survival is a glitter top coat with various shades of pink, blue and purple dots in a clear base. I didn’t need to use the “dab” method to apply the dots, but I would suggest swirling the brush around the bottle to “catch” as many as possible. The base wasn’t thick but I found this to be the easiest way to grab a bunch of dots at once. Shown is 1 coat over Perseverance.

Warrior

Warrior is a fuchsia jelly base packed with silver microglitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sisters

Sisters is a rose pink base packed with silver shimmer and flecks which gives it a metallic look. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Pink Bracelets

Pink Bracelets is a pink holographic glitter topper that can also be used for full coverage. I used 3 thin coats for the photos shown. So for actual full coverage I would say it needs another coat (keep in mind, I do thin coats for everything – so my 4 coats is probably someone elses 2-3 coats)

This is a nice collection with a nice assortment of pink tones. I had no application issues and any small things I felt should be mentioned were, but none were deal breakers by any means. My top picks are Fight Like A Girl, Perseverance  and Warrior.
