Press Sample of the Treo Lacquer
Spicy Maritime Trio
Time is just flying by… and I have an upcoming trio from Treo Lacquer to share with you! This is the Spicy Maritime Trio!
This trio (or Treo) was inspired by a hot sauce company that is local to Treo Lacquer. The company is Maritime Madness!
This treo releases tomorrow, and honestly – you can’t go wrong picking up any of these 3.
From the first time swatching for Treo until now, I’ve seen tremendous growth and it’s been incredible to see her start out and grow into the maker she is now in such a short period of time. I am noticing her love of thermal creations, but i have to say… I am a fan of her microglitters. Big time.
Ready to take a look at this release?
Treo Lacquer | Burn Rate
Burn Rate is a ultra multichrome that shifts from red to orange to gold, with green and blue at super extreme angles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
On first application, the formula seemed really thin, but it did build up nicely and to full opacity without the use of undies.
Treo Lacquer | Drizzle the Sizzle
Drizzle the Sizzle is a microglitter bomb! This contains silver holographic micro glitter, with red and orange micro glitter mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In 2 coats I got decent coverage and it had a light texture that smoothed over with 1 coat of top coat. Obviously the more coats of polish, the more texture – so if you do more than 2, you may need additional coats of top coat.
Treo Lacquer | Peck of Peppers
Peck of Peppers is a black (cold) to colorless/clear (warm) thermal with red to orange to gold to green ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
With just 2 coats, the colorless goes clear and would make a nice top coat over another color. The more coats you do, the “clear” becomes more of a slightly milky clear – but the black deepens. So preference. I personally like the clear warm stage.
Treo Lacquer | Spicy Maritime Trio
I like when inspo is a little outside of the box. We generally see fandom style inspiration – so to see more local to the maker stuff – it gives you a little insight into their heads.
All 3 of these are beautifully done, but I’m definitely drawn to Drizzle the Sizzle!
