Press Sample of Treo Lacquer
Camping Holoday & Ostara Treos
Tonight I have a brand new indie brand on the blog to share! We’ll be looking at the 2 debut “treos” – Treo Lacquer Camping Holoday & Ostara Treos!
There are 2 sets, and they refer to their trios as “treos” as a cute play on the brand name. I have both “treos” to share and I had a standout favorite in this release for sure.
I did receive mini bottles (very normal for a new brand that just launched), so the main photo I used a top coat bottle to hold for the photos because my hands just shake too much gripping smaller bottles.
Let’s jump in and take a look!
Treo Lacquer | Campsite
Campsite is a medium green jelly base with brown bar glitters, small lime green hex glitters and holo green hex glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Application was good and the jelly base had a good consistency so the glitters floated within and weren’t difficult to grab (no fishing). I’m not a fan of bar glitters, but these ones played well within the polish.
Treo Lacquer | Kumbaya
Kumbaya is a black jelly base with red micro glitters, small gold holographic glitters and charcoal holographic microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Again, application was good – but due to the glitter content, I did need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth, glassy finish.
Treo Lacquer | Under The Stars
Under The Stars is a midnight blue jelly base with silver holographic micro glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. The jelly base had wonderful consistency and the midnight blue is incredibly rich.
Treo Lacquer | Rosy Cheeks
Rosy Cheeks is a frosted medium rosy pink with silver flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. The flecks against the frost finish give the appearance of texture, but application was actually incredibly smooth.
Treo Lacquer | Chick
Chick is a frosted, pale yellow with matching yellow micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Mild brushstrokes are visible due to the frosty nature of the polish.
Treo Lacquer | Sprout
Sprout is my favorite of the 6 polishes. Sprout is a sheer Spring green crelly like base with glowy green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Treo Lacquer | Camping Holoday & Ostara Treos
Overall I was very happy with the application of all 6 shades. I’m not huge on bar glitters or frosty finishes though (personal preference) so Sprout, Kumbaya and Under The Stars would have to be my top picks (in that order.)
All 6 shades are available now.
