Bi Pride Treo

I have another post to share with you today – and this is the Treo Lacquer Bi Pride Treo!

The Treo Lacquer Bi Pride Treo (remember, she does her releases in trios but does a play on words for her brand name… so Treo = Trio) and this collection is inspired by the colors of the bi pride flag and each polish is named after a bisexual character.

This set releases on September 23rd, which also happens to be Bisexuality Day!

Treo Lacquer | Pam

Pam is named after Pam Poovey from Archer. Pam is a lavender tinged rose pink crelly base with white shimmer and baby pink, pink, and fuchsia pink microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Due to the microglitters, there is a texture to this when it dries down, so you will need either a glitter smoothing topper or 2 coats of top coat.

Treo Lacquer | Rosa

Rosa is named after Rosa Diaz from Brooklyn 99. Rosa is a cool toned purple base with warm purple shimmer, and lilac to gold shifting microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade was difficult to photograph, so i do suggest taking a peek at other photos for better color accuracy.

Treo Lacquer | Cpt Jack

Cpt Jack is named after Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who. Cpt Jack is an ultramarine blue crelly base with white and blue matte glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

So originally – this polish looked a bit different. When I got it – the shimmery elements had all fallen to the bottom of the bottle and wouldn’t redistribute. I notified Amanda of Treo Lacquer, and she halted release of this collection (I think it was supposed to release in late July or early to mid August?) and reformulate this shade.

First, I’m glad she was concerned enough to halt release in order to reformulate – always a good sign for a brand. But second – I love this newer version. From what I could tell – the original didn’t have the glitter variety and was more shimmer vs glitter.

All 3 of these are beautifully done, but my favorite is Cpt Jack! Character wise, I do love Rosa – but Cpt Jack as a polish has my heart (John Barrowman is pretty incredible too)
