Anyone around my age probably grew up watching Three’s Company, or even Step by Step (I loved TGIF!) so you’d be fairly familiar with Suzanne Somers. I also remember her infomercials for the Thighmaster. But did you know she also has a beauty line?

I had the opportunity to try out several items in the Suzanne Organics line and I made sure to grab some skincare as well as cosmetics. Suzanne Somers is a cancer survivor and believes in a natural, healthy lifestyle – so it’s only natural for her own beauty line to follow that lifestyle as well. Suzanne Somers beauty products are made with natural botanical extracts, enzymes, skin-nurturing anti-oxidants, organic fruits and vegetables. From nourishing skin-care to flawless make-up, these products were designed to help you glow. Her beauty and health products are pure and clean, easy and fun.

What makes Suzanne Organics different? They are more than natural, more than organic, they are Certified ToxicFree®. No PEGs, no parabens, no synthetic fragrances, no chemical emulsifiers, no animal testing and completely gluten-free.

Let’s take a look at some of the products I tried out. I’ll walk you through my day to day look and how I used the items I tried out.

We’re going to look at the skin care items first! I like to start my day with a fresh and clean canvas, so I went for simplicity. I picked up the Suzanne Organics Everyday Cleanser and Coconut Oil Moisture Serum.

I begin and end each day washing my face, so finding a cleanser that won’t irritate or dry out my skin is important. Suzanne Organics Everyday Cleanser is perfect for all skin types, but I can only speak for mine personally (combo skin!)

Every morning I added a little bit of cleanser to my hands and gently rubbed it onto my face (while my face was still dry) and then added a little water into it, then rinse. At the end of the day, I repeated the same process to remove my makeup and cleanse my skin.

One of the many things I really loved about Everyday Cleanser was that I was able to use it in my eye area without irritation. I like things simple, so when I can use 1 product to remove everything, I’m hooked.

The Suzanne Organics Coconut Oil Serum is actually a multi use product, so I had a few reasons to grab it. This isn’t just a facial moisturizer type serum. This is a skin, hair and nails serum – so really I can use it for anywhere that needs moisture.

Coconut Oil Serum helps to improve tone, texture and appearance. After I’m done cleansing my face with the Suzanne Organics Everyday Cleanser, I add a couple drops of Coconut Moisture Serum to my fingers and gently rub a thin layer into my face as my moisturizer. I only need a very little bit to do the trick. Then I gently massage any leftover serum into my cuticles and hands.

Nothing goes to waste this way!

Now that my canvas is prepped, let’s move onto the makeup! I got the basics, things I use daily and cannot go without.

Here are my main 2 products. Concealer and face powder. I’m not huge into liquid foundation and usually don’t need heavy coverage, so a good concealer and face powder have me set and ready to go.

Perfect Finish Concealer (shade Light/Medium) is formulated using shea butter and jojoba, as well as soothing lavender and vitamin E. This has a buttery smooth formula that’s easy to apply and blend.

The Matte Finish Loose Powder is a luxuriously fine, near-transparent powder that creates a thin, light flawless matte finish when applied to the skin or over set foundation. I have been using it just over the concealer and my skin looks fresh and natural. Perfect for the “barely there” look.

I also need my blush to add a little color to my face, so I picked up Suzanne Organics Natural Blushing Powder in Honey Glow. This is a lighter shade that adds a nice flush to my cheeks and warms up my complexion a bit. This organic blush combines gorgeous colors from nature’s raspberries, cranberries and oranges with no artificial dyes or chemical binders.

I add a light sweep of color to my cheeks and move onto my eyes!

My eyes might be my favorite feature, so I always wear mascara. Always!

The Suzanne Organics Lengthening Mascara enhances your lashes without the artificial colors or petroleum. For those with sensitive eyes, this would probably be a must have. This silky mascara defines lashes with natural colors and the conditioning agents of Aloe and Cocoa Butter.

Last, but not least, I picked up a new lipstick! I went for a sheerer shade in Honey Glow, which is close to the same shade as the blush I picked up!

The Sheer Satin Lipstick is made with Shea, Cocoa, and Avocado Butter to create a conditioning base combined with color from nature’s berries and minerals for a sheer, beautiful look. Honey Glow is a lighter, peachy pink neutral shade that goes on sheer to complete my everyday, lighter look!

This is awesome! I had no idea that she had a cosmetic line! I grew up watching those shows too and I love that they’re free of everything and organic. My makeup routine is just powder, lipstick and mascara and I’m good to go

Hi, Lisa. I’m like most of these other readers, I had no idea that she had a makeup line. The coconut oil serum is something I’d like to try.

Whoa! I didn’t know that Suzanne Somers branched out into organic skincare and makeup. I’m not a makeup wearer, but I’ll have to compare her products, and price points, to the current organic line that I am a rep for. Thanks! :)
