A few days ago I posted My Top 5 Uses for Eucalyptus Essential Oiland today I will be posting my 2nd favorite essential oil with multiple uses… Peppermint Essential Oil!

Peppermint (Mentha piperita) has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, as well as other uses.  Take a look!

Digestion:

Having some digestion issues?  Add a drop of Peppermint Essential Oil in herbal tea to help return digestion to normal.

Motion Sickness:

Get motion sickness?  Car sick on long trips?  Rub a few drop of oil on your  stomach and a drop on each wrist to help ease minor motion issues.  You can also apply a few drops into a cloth and simply inhale the scent while traveling to help ease your tummy troubles related to motion.

Concentration:

Place a couple drops of Peppermint Essential Oil on the tongue and rub another drop of oil under your nose to help improve concentration and alertness.

Bad Breath:

Sometimes… your breath just needs a boost.  Apply a drop of Peppermint Essential Oil directly to your tongue or into a small cup of water if you want to swish it around.  It will leave your breath fresh and minty, moreso than a mouthwash would.

Stress:

Peppermint oil is cooling and energizing. Add a few drops to your bath, or dap a few drops directly on your body then get into the tub, for near-instant stress relief. You can also put the oil into a burner for a stress-relieving aroma.

Like the Eucalyptus Essential Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil also has several more benefits I haven’t listed.  It’s another great oil to keep on hand.

Price: $14.77

Where To Buy: Amazon

Do you experience any of the things listed above?  If you do and haven’t found anything to help, drop the pills and try out Peppermint Essential Oils!
