There is a new collaboration box in town, and it’s the creation of Rogue Lacquer & Tonic Nail Polish! I have the debut of The Polish Palette to share with you today!

This whole box is very new, so I’ll let you know what I know, BUT there is a possibility I’ll have to edit info in the future. With anything new, there may be something missed by me. I’m human, it’s my lunch break at work and I’m hungry… so yeah.

What is The Polish Palette? It’s a quarterly (not monthly) collaboration box that was created by Tonic Polish and Rogue Lacquer. At the current time it will only be those 2 makers involved. They may invite guests in the future, but for now – it’s their baby. The plan is to keep it quarterly – so 4 boxes a year vs a monthly 12 boxes a year deal.

When The Polish Palette for each quarter goes up, it will be for a discounted price as a set. At a much later date (probably 4-6 months later), the polishes within each box MIGHT be available for individual purchase, but those details aren’t completely hammered out just yet.

Okay so why is it called The Polish Palette? Tonic and Rogue Lacquer are basing each box off a color palette so that each set is cohesive and not just random colors. The first Polish Palette was created based on the palette below

Let’s jump right in

Tonic Polish – Antarctic

Tonic Polish Antarctic is a dazzler. This is a gunmetal grey intense linear holographic packed with rainbow iridescent flecks and silver holographic micro particles. The flecks blend in nicely with the super holo effect and pop when light hits.

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Nail Polish – Saharan

Saharan is an incredible fiery orange base with gold magnetic shimmer. If you leave it as is, the fiery orange base is toned down a bit with the golden shimmer, but once you hit it with a magnet – the shimmer draws to the center and the intense orange is revealed. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rogue Lacquer – Sonoran

Sonoran is a bright chartreuse base with silver holographic microglitters scattered in, as well as iridescent aqua micro flakes and gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rogue Lacquer – Gobi

Gobi is the 4th and final shade… and it’s full of those flakies Rachel is so well known for!

Gobi is a sheer teal base packed with teal micro flakes, a touch of scattered holo and ultra chrome chameleon flakes that shift purple to magenta to gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Despite all the flakes.. this polish is incredibly smooth with just 1 coat of top coat.

I know my nails aren’t the same length in this collage, I did the Tonics 5 days ago and the Rogue Lacquer ones last night. That’s how quick my nails grow.

Okay so this is the debut The Polish Palette box, and I cannot wait to see more in the future. I’ve worked with both Lindsey and Rachel for awhile, and they both have very distinctive styles – so the combination of the two brands is incredible. The concept is fun and I actually like that it’s quarterly instead of monthly, it will save some wallets a bit.
