The New Black Runway Set Review

I had a little fun experimenting with The New Black’s Runway set today!  The Runway Set consists of 8 colors with endless possibilities!  These are great for ombrè nails, gradient nails, skittle mani’s, color blocking and so much more!

For my first mani I did a slightly funky french, which I’ve never done.  I used the nude color (no name on these colors) and painted my nails.  Once dry I used striping tape across the tips  and from pinky to pointer, I used red, pink, orange and then yellow on the tips.  Only 1 coat was used of each color.  These were well pigmented and glided on nicely!

My second mani was my first color blocking experience!  I used the remaining 3 colors for this mani!  A nice shimmery lavender as the base, then the deep blue for the center and a shimmery green on the tips.  I am not 100% happy with the color block, but I thought it wasn’t bad for a first try!  Much like the first mani, each color only needed one coat and it was perfect!
