I have some more Different Dimension and Glisten & Glow on the blog for you today! I showed off their new YWP Quad this morning, but next up Cupcake Polish and Anchor & Heart will be joining them! That’s right, it’s time for The Holo Hookup May 2018 Mermaids!
This month the theme is Mermaids so all 4 ladies created their polishes and named them mermaid-y names!
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and for May 2018 the guest maker is Anchor & Heart!

Cupcake Polish – Mermazing
Cupcake Polish Mermazing is a sky blue linear holographic with red and pink shimmer and iridescent flakes packed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Different Dimension – Mermaid Hair, Don’t Care
Different Dimension Mermaid Hair, Don’t Care is a deep teal linear holographic loaded with color shifting micro ultra chrome chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow – Mermaid Squad
Glisten & Glow Mermaid Squad is a slightly dusty mint creme based linear holographic with color shifting ultra chrome chameleon flakes and a touch of gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Anchor & Heart – Let’s Be Mermaids
Anchor & Heart Let’s Be Mermaids is an orchid pink creme based holographic with strong green to purple aurora shimmer and iridescent flakes that shift red to pink to gold to green. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The aurora shimmer is much more apparent in person.
The Holo Hookup May 2018 Mermaids
I love everything mermaid, so this was a hit with me! It’s always crazy to get these boxes and have to keep my mouth shut until they can be shown. I do love the variation of blueish green shades and then the pop of pink from Anchor & Heart. I feel like the 3 bluish shades are different enough to need all of them, but all work as watery shades.
