It has been one of those weeks, so I’m running a bit behind getting this post up! I have The Holo Hookup for March 2019 to share tonight, theme is London Calling!

As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!

This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish.  The guest maker this month is ‘Ard As Nails!

This month is not a normal box. It is a limited number of boxes. So there is no guarantee it will be available for the full week. If you want to grab it, do it before it’s too late.

Each shade in the box has holographic elements of some sort in it. It may be scattered, linear, subtle or in your face, but an element of it is there. Some makers may incorporate other elements such as shimmer, glitter or flakes – but it will be in conjunction with holo.

Let’s jump right in!

Glisten & Glow | Utterly Knackered

Utterly Knackered is a bright royal blue linear holographic with purple shimmer, green to blue to purple ultrachrome chameleon flakes and a light dusting of silver galaxy holo microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat.

It does have a light texture, but 1 coat of top coat smoothed it over.

Different Dimension | God Save The Queen

God Save The Queen is a deep maroonish red linear holographic with red micro flakes and shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish | Cracking On

Cracking On is a grey creme based linear holographic with silver shimmer added. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

‘Ard As Nails | It’s All Gone Pear Shaped

It’s All Gone Pear Shaped is a deep, dusty navy blue linear holographic with red metallic and multicolored chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Holo Hookup March 2019 | London Calling

As I mentioned earlier, this is a little different this month. Instead of an unlimited preorder, there is a limited number of boxes. I don’t know how many, but usually the ladies at Holo Hookup Headquarters do a pretty good job with making a lot of boxes so barely anyone feels left out. I know they did a limited number before, and most who wanted the box were able to grab it.

‘Ard As Nails is a new to me brand and I was quite pleased with her polish and being able to try the brand for the first time. I would be happy to purchase from ‘Ard As Nails again in the future.
