I thought I’d have this up at midnight on the dot – but it’s been a busy day! My son and I both had eye doctor appointments starting at 10am this morning and I had requested the day off since it would be a back and forth game if I went to work after. So we got up and got ready to have our eyes violated with puffs of air, picked out new frames and all that fun stuff. Then we headed to UPS since we got a new Comcast modem and needed to return the old one. After we headed to grab lunch, then the post office, then Starbucks (I hadn’t had coffee yet!) and to end it… I cleaned out my old car to get ready to donate. While cleaning it out, a neighbor asked if I would consider selling her to them – so we’re going to be discussing that a bit.  I’m ready to crash, but ….

It’s that time again! We have another The Holo Hookup post, and it’s a good one! Tonight we’re taking a look at The Holo Hookup for July 2018.

As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!

This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. As I already mentioned, the guest maker for July is Polish ‘M.

Let’s jump right in – we have the polishes in the box, and then some stamping I did. Still practicing, but I bought a few fun stamping plates just for this box.

Cupcake Polish – Free Parking

Cupcake Polish Free Parking is a jade green linear holographic polish with heavy red and blue contrasting aurora shimmers. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Different Dimension – This Is How We Roll

Different Dimension This Is How We Roll is a vermillion red linear holographic polish with copper to green shifting aurora shimmers. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Glisten & Glow – It’s a Hit

Glisten & Glow It’s a Hit is a grey linear holographic polish with added orange to red to yellow color shifting ultra chrome chameleon flakes with a dusting of copper shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Polish M – #sorrynotsorry

Polish M #sorrynotsorry is a medium blue linear holo with a purple shimmer, scattered silver galaxy holo, silver holo micro flakes and purple to blue shifting iridescent micro glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Holo Hookup July 2018 | Nostalgic Board Games

So I grew up playing board games and such, I was part of the generation that spent early years with board games for entertainment and then moved into computers and video games as they came out and grew more popular.

We had some very competitive UNO games growing up too – my sisters and I would fight like crazy over rules and technicalities all the time. While not a board game, that was the top game played, but was followed closely by Battleship and Sorry.

All 4 of these applied well and were beautiful!
