Can you believe we’re already doing a 2019 geared post? I cannot believe we’re about to come up on a whole new year! I have the The Holo Hookup January 2019 Cell-a-brate Biology themed box to share!
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. The guest maker this month is Bee’s Knees Lacquer!
Each shade in the box has holographic elements of some sort in it. It may be scattered, linear, subtle or in your face, but an element of it is there. Some makers may incorporate other elements such as shimmer, glitter or flakes – but it will be in conjunction with holo.

Cupcake Polish | Highly Cultured
Highly Cultured is a hot pink creme based linear holographic filled with small opal iridescent glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Different Dimension |I Got My Ion You
I Got My Ion You is a medium minty teal creme based linear holographic with gold micro flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | #Cellfie
#Cellfie is a mustard yellow jelly based linear holographic with intense red/pink shimmer and silver holo microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
My camera likes to pull more gold out in mustard like shades, so this is toned down a bit in person.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Asp Me About It
Asp Me About It is a navy blue linear holographic with copper magnetic shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
A magnet will be included with each order.

Another fun box with a great mix of colors. I know the stamping I did doesn’t really match the theme, but I could have sworn I had a biology leaning plate, and of course I didn’t…so we improvised and I just went with what I thought looked fun with each shade.
I had no application issues with any of these shades.
