Press Samples of The Holo Hookup January 2016 Indie Collaboration Box
The Holo Hookup is gearing up to launch their January 2016 (holy crap… 2016 soon!) Indie Collaboration Box, and this month Polished by KPT is joining in on the fun!
If you haven’t heard about The Holo Hookup yet, here is a little info about it – As the name suggests – this is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and as I already revealed, January’s guest is Polished by KPT
Each box has a theme and here is the theme inspiration for The Holo Hookup January 2016 Indie Collaboration Box:
Love is in the little things like your first date, while enjoying a little bit of bubbly, followed by walks in nature and then you have your first kiss…

These are some lovely shades a nice mix of shades from lighter pinks to purple shimmer black shades. I had no application issues with any of these shades.

Another gorgeous box, I love Date Night!
Yes! Date Night is gorgeous!
This post is great, but I’m a little disappointed in the boxes themselves. I’m seeing very similar colors each month. Each month has had a dark purple. Cupcake’s pink here looks very similar to Elevation’s pink from the first box. Glisten & Glow had a very green leaning teal in the first box and now we have two months in a row with a gold polish, albeit from two different makers. I mean, I’ll keep buying the boxes but I hope we see a range of colors in the future. Probably not the best place for this comment, sorry! As I said, the post was great.
I completely understand that Jo! I’m not sure how they go about creating the colors or if everyone knows who’s making what. I do know the makers read the comments, so maybe they will take your thoughts into consideration in future boxes. Thanks so much for commenting Jo!
Your swatches are gorgeous, but the colors are a little underwhelming. I think I’m a little over the holiday color-scheme lol.
