Happy Saturday everyone, it’s finally the weekend and we’re getting closer to Thanksgiving! I thought I’d kick off the weekend with The Holo Hookup December 2018 Box – Transitioning Into The New Year, and it’s a special thermal edition!
This month we have 4 thermal shades! So not only will you be getting 4 holos in the box, they are 4 holographic thermals.
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. The guest maker this month is Fancy Gloss!
Each shade in the box has holographic elements of some sort in it. It may be scattered, linear, subtle or in your face, but an element of it is there. Some makers may incorporate other elements such as shimmer, glitter or flakes – but it will be in conjunction with holo.
Let’s jump right in. Since they are thermals – this will be more photo heavy than usual. We’ll see each shade in warm state, cold state and the in between state.
Cupcake Polish | Flash Forward
Flash Forward is a denim blue scattered holographic with a slightly lavender/periwinkle tinge to it when cold and it transitions to a turquoise when warm. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Different Dimension | New Beginning
New Beginning is a golden peach when cold to a chartreusey yellow when cold with a linear holographic and reddish copper shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow| Times Are Changing
Times Are Changing is a black when cold to vanilla when warm with a linear holographic effect, as well as purple and red shimmers and multi colored holographic and ultra chrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fancy Gloss | Turn Back Time
Turn Back Time is a mauve when cold to light blue while warm with a scattered holographic effect and turquoise shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
