April 2019 Releases
I’m chugging along trying to get things done and moving while still working longer hours. Tax season is almost done, and I cannot wait. I’m trying to take some time off right after tax season and I’m basically going to spend that time catching up on swatching. My son is in school during the day and Nick will be at work, so I’ll have time to myself. I also desperately need to clear my desk area.
Anyways, tonight I’ll be sharing The Don Deeva April 2019 Releases!
The Don Deeva April Release consists of the Kawaii AF Collection (6 pieces) as well as Doris Payne, Jesse James, Deeva Von Tease and Chillin on Cello.
Because of my current schedule – I can only do a few swatches a night. I started these swatches last Friday and completed them last night. There’s a couple different nail lengths within the post – which drives me batty, but it is what it is.
All of these release April 12th at 3pm EST.
Ready to jump in and take a look? We’ll start with the Kawaii AF Collection then move into the rest.
The Don Deeva | Hotaru
Usually green is not a top pick of mine, but this round it is. Hotaru is a vibrant Spring green with red to gold aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Don Deeva | Hoshi
Hoshi is a medium sky blue jelly with pink to blue aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Don Deeva | Masaaki
Masaaki is a bright lemon yellow jelly base loaded with aqua to gold aurora. I see aqua and gold shimmer, I don’t know for sure if those are the colors. The base is bright and my eyes are tired. Whatever they are – they light up with this base color.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Don Deeva | Kioshi
Kioshi is a soft lavender jelly base loaded with red to gold aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Of the 6 shades in the Kawaii AF Collection, this shade was the sheerest to me.
The Don Deeva | Yukio
Yukio is a rosey pink jelly base with pink to gold aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Don Deeva | Kioko
Kioko is a really fun shade, and it looks better in person than it does in photographs.
Kioko is a white crelly base with white matte square and micro glitters as well as an assortment of neon matte glitters in pink, coral, yellow and aqua. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
There is a light texture – so you may need 2 coats of top coat for these photos.
The Don Deeva | Jesse James
Jesse James is chrome like, chocolate brown base with strong green shimmer and copper sparks, but at some angles you catch a glimpse of violet and gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Don Deeva | Doris Payne
Doris Payne is a Deeva group exclusive. This is the beginning of a new line called Bada$$ Women of History.
Doris Payne is a raisin (cold) to peachy pink (warm) thermal loaded with copper, gold, and pink shifty flakes, as well as holo flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these phtoos.
The Don Deeva | Deeva Von Tease
Deeva Von Tease is a warm beige jelly base with delicate iridescent glitters, as well as pearly white and copper red micro glitters.
The Don Deeva | Chillin On Cello!
Chillin On Cello! is a new core polish. This is part of the Deeva Drawers line.
Chillin on Cello! is a soft, buttery yellow crelly. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This would make an excellent undie for Masaaki
The Don Deeva | April 2019 Releases
This is a really nice release, but the Kawaii AF Collection shades steal the show for me. They are simple but stunning (by simple – I mean no special effects, but the aurora and jellies play nice and nothing else competes for attention)
