And we’re back.. it’s early Monday morning for me, but since I slept in today (we won’t discuss how late) I’m still awake now. So time for another post. This morning we’re going to take a look at The Charity Box June 2021 with a theme of ‘In The Wild!’

I had more than half of these swatches done and ready to post ahead of the shop – but then USPS held my box with the remaining items in it hostage for a little longer than intended, so … we’re a couple days late.

I have 18 of this month’s offerings to share this month. The theme is In The Wild, so makers were inspired by wild animals! The charity this month is Paws with a Cause which is an organization that enchances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities nationally through custom trained Assistance Dogs. PAWS^® increases awareness of the rights and roles of Assistance Dog Teams through education and advocacy.

Paws with a Cause helps individuals with a variety of disabilities, but they also have working dogs specifically trained for groups and facilities like schools and hospitals.

So this month $1 from every bottle/item sold will be donated to Paws with a Cause. You can also add the additional donation link which is on the site and donate a larger amount if you wish to.

Inspiration:Inspired by the cheeky cheshire cat

Description: We’re All Mad Here is a blackened teal jelly base loaded with light blue to purple shifting shimmer, crystal color shifting flakes and blue to green shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | I Love Lamp (Magnetic)

Inspiration: Inspired by the Elephant Hawk Moth

Description: I Love Lamp is a medium berry pink jelly base with strong green to pink shifting shimmer and silver magnetic pigment. I only magnetized the middle and ring nails and I used a magnet that repels the shimmer away from the center instead of the traditional line. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: Electric Gecko is a bright aqua crelly base with pink to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspiration: Inspired by the majestic and mysterious octopus

Description: Tellaro is a fuchsia pink base with strong pink to gold to orange shimmer mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bases Loaded Lacquer | Cosmos

Inspiration: Cosmos was inspired by the caterpillar stage of the Cosmos Fruit-Piercing Moth

Description: Cosmos is a sheer black jelly base with blue to purple shifting glitters, red micro glitters and matte white glitter in squares and dots. I used 2 coats over the middle and ring fingers and 1 coat over a grey crelly base on index and pinky.

Description: Rainbow Snake is a black jelly base with green to blue shifting large particle aurora shimmer as well as blue to violet to pink magnetic pigment. I only magnetized the middle and ring fingers so you can see it both ways. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: Welcome To the Jungle is a jungle green jelly base packed with blue to aqua to gold shifting iridescent flakes, as well as blue, green and bronze metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspiration: Inspired by the colorful creature that is its namesake

Description: Sea Dragon is a royal blue shimmer base with purple to pink to gold multichrome magnetic pigment, as well as red and turquoise flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos, and I only magnetized the middle and ring fingers so you can see it both ways.

Inspiration: Owls

Description: This pendant is an antique silver owl shape and is 2″ tall and 1.5″ wide and comes on an 22″ silver stainless steel chain necklace with a lobster claw clasp. The cabochon is painted with Tonic Polish “Peacock Parade” which is a multichrome polish shifting purple to green to teal to gold.

This is super shifty and I got a TON of compliments on it when I wore it earlier this week. It has a nice weight to it without being too much.

Luna Wax | Under the Sea

Inspiration: Inspired by the sea and all the amazing creatures that live there

Description: Under The Sea is a scoopable, small bead (like sand sized) wax and wax shapes in various sea creatures and objects. Comes with the shovel shown to scoop it too!

Scented in Bum Bum Cream type, which will remind you of a sunny day at the beach. Bum Bum type is described as a beachy gourmand scent – salted caramel on a bed of pistachio and warm sunshine.

I’ve been melting this all weekend and it smells amazing. It’s kind of girly and has a fresh and vibrant floral to it.

Sassy Pants Polish | Lioness

Inspiration: Inspired by the mighty hunters of the savannah

Description: Lioness is a sandy beige crelly base loaded with brown, bronze, copper, coral and turquoise matte glitter, as well as gold hologrpahic pigment and red to gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dries with a slight texture – but 1 coat of top coat should smooth it just fine.

Treo Lacquer | #quokkaselfie

Inspiration: #quokkaselfie was inspired by the happiest animal on earth – the Quokka

Description: #quokkaselfie is a bright, medium coral crelly base with pink to orange to green shifting aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I remember when I first found out about Quokkas and I was like “AWWW! It’s looks like a stuffed animal!” and then I found out that while adorable, if a predator is threatening them, they will throw their young as a sacrifice in order to get away. This doesn’t seem to jive with their smiling personalities and I remember reading it like “Noooo” but apparently it’s true.

Such an amazing mix of colors and finishes. This might be the most range I’ve seen in a collab in awhile. I know I usually see quite a mix, this seems to cover most things (minus yellow I think…)
