It’s been a busy week, and I have another review up for you! I should have several up over the next few days now that I am almost caught up on swatching. Tonight we’re going to look at the Talk Indie To Me Box for April 2019 which released just a few hours ago.
The inspiration for this month’s Talk Indie To Me Box is Lady Gaga! I am a fan of Lady Gaga and if we are ever stuck in a car together, you are guaranteed to hear me sing one of her songs when it comes up on shuffle on my phone, much to my son’s utter horror. It’s not that he doesn’t like her music… I just can’t sing. At all.
There was a change this month with the Talk Indie To Me box – Necessary Evil Polish is now a permanent maker within the box along with Zombie Claw! I’ve worked with Tamara several times now, and know she’s a wonderful edition to the box.

Zombie Claw | We’re Far From The Shallows
We’re Far From The Shallows is inspired by Lady Gaga’s outfit from when she performed Shallow live at the Grammys. This is a sheer black scattered holographic base with pink to green to gold flakes, holographic, black and iridescent glitters, as well as gold to red holographic shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Necessary Evil | Born This Way
Born This Way is a linear holographic multichrome that shifts from a brick red rose (yes I made it up but it works) with a shift to lavender, mauve, pink and blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Talk Indie To Me Box | April 2019
This is a great little box and I kinda love the inspiration. Both shades applied beautifully! We’re Far From The Shallows is sheer, but it can be worn alone or as a topper if desired. I actually like the sheerness because it lets all the sparkle do the talking.
