Happy Monday! I had another fairly productive weekend and was busy swatching and spending time with Jacob setting up for Halloween. Today we’re going to be looking at the Sweet &but Sour Lacquer Salad Fingers Trio!
The Sweet & Sour Lacquer Salad Fingers Trio was inspired by the animated series from the early 2000s, Salad Fingers. In particular – this trio is inspired by things Salad Fingers touches or tastes.
All 3 shades in this trio are deeper base colors with strong shimmer and they are sibling polishes to ‘I Like IT When The Red Water Comes Out’ which was a creation for the September Polish Pickup shop that sold out quick.
For all photos I did use artificial lighting. To top the shades off I also used Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce as well as Secret Matte Sauce so you can see each shade glossy and matte. You can also pick up a bottle of both in the shop (which I recommend… I’ve been using the Gloss Sauce regularly and just bought another refill bottle)
This set is due to release on October 28th… so lets jump on in and take a closer look. At the end of this post I will also embed my live swatch video from Instagram.

I Wonder What You Taste Like is an indigo blue crelly base loaded with blue to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

A Pleasure for the Tips is a deep, warm purple crelly base with green to blue shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Sweet & Sour Lacquer | I Like Rusty Spoons
I Like Rusty Spoons is a dark teal crelly base with pink to copper to gold shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Of the 3 of these… it’s hard to pick a favorite – but I think it would have to be A Pleasure for the Tips.
I do hope to see this set expanded on. I’d love a deep vampy red with shimmer.
