It’s time to start getting ready for St. Patty’s Day! This Superficially Colorful collection is the perfect way to kick off those green shades for it!
Here is what the maker said about this collection’s inspiration:
As you know, Shamrock is the young sprigs of the clover that symbolize St. Patrick’s Day. In Irish slang, Sham is a friend, mate, dude. And according to the Urban Dictionary Shamrocking has several meanings but my favorite is yelling out loud and crying when you lose at a game you suck horribly at.
So this is my collection: a play of shades, finishes and words based on Irish slang.
Let’s take a look!
Acting The Maggot
Definition: Playing the fool, acting annoyingly stupid
Acting The Maggot is a squishy medium green jelly polish with holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Boxing The Fox
Definition: Robbing an Orchard.
Boxing The Fox is a silvery green holographic polish. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Stouting
Definition: the action of drinking Stout (a term that covers the range of drinks such as Guinness, Beamish, Murphys…) and getting very drunk.
Stouting is a very dark forest green holographic polish. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Stop The Lights
Definition: An expression of incredulity or astonishment
Stop The Lights is a base of golden green flakies with different sizes of green hex glitter. It can be a topper but it can also be worn in 2-3 coats on its own. I used 3 coats on it’s own for these photos.
Overview
This is a really nice St Patty’s Day collection! All 4 shades had great application. My favorites are Stouting and Acting The Maggot, but all 4 are completely wearable for me!
