A new indie shop has been in the works for months now and tomorrow is her GRAND OPENING!
Jin from Superficially Colorful has been working on her polishes for months with testing and perfecting, and I was lucky enough to receive 5 of her thermal polishes as a gift! I’ve worn these a few times now, and they look amazing.
Each set of photos will show 4 photos of each polish. The first 2 photos will be the thermals in their warm state and the last 2 will be in their cold state so you can see the color change.
Lets take a look at the 5 polishes, and then I will go into detail about her shop opening!
Serene
Serene is the most subtle of the thermals I received. In it’s warm state, its a light sky blue with aqua blue shimmer. I used 2 coats for this photo.
When cold, it turns to a beautiful aqua blue with shimmer.
Impulsive
Impulsive is a green thermal changing polish. In its warm state it is a nice spring green with shimmer! I used 2 coats for these photos.
In it’s cold state, it turns to a deeper shade of green.
Daring
In it’s warm state Daring is a gorgeous vibrant golden yellow with shimmer. It actually gets a touch brighter than the photo shows, but my hands were cold and it kept going back to its cold color before I could snap a photo!
In it’s cold state, Daring is a gorgeous vibrant orange.
Fascinated
Fascinated is probably my favorite of the 5! In it’s warm state Fascinated is a beautiful medium blue with pink and blue shimmer throughout. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
In it’s cold state, Fascinated turns to a deep purple with the same gorgeous shimmer.
Mischievous
Colorwise, Mischievous wasn’t my favorite, but it was so interesting and different – I couldn’t help but like it. In it’s warm state Mischievous is a dusty lime green with purple square glitter. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
In it’s cold state, it turns to a murky orange with purple square glitter.
And just because, here is Mischievous mid transformation
This is pretty much the perfect Halloween polish!
Overview
I didn’t have any application issues with any of the 5 shades. They went on smooth and easy, and the colors all changed in different temperatures. Serene had the least amount of change, but the change was still evident. I love the shimmer in all of these shades to give them an extra oomph.

OMG!!! This is such an amazing post!!! I really don’t even know what to say… Your swatches are SOOOOOO beautiful!!! <3 if I didn't recognize the bottles, I would never have believed these were mine <3
LOVE Serene and Daring. Very nice!
I love Fascinated and Daring
I am so excited for Jin! These are lovely!!
gorgeous swatches!
I like serene and fascinated.
Goodness, Serene is gorgeous!
Those are so much fun! Keep them in a dark, cool place to keep the thermal pigments working longer! I love how those look on people with longer nails, because the tips are a different temp than the nail beds!
I love the finish on these! Absolutely gorgeous!
I LOVE color changing polishes, and these are so beautiful!
Those shades are so pretty! Love your hands/nails. They look so perfect. When I try and show nail polish I look like a hot mess! ha
I love how smooth these all look. Congratulations to Jin on her new indie line!
They are all so pretty
Stunning mani! I like all but my faves are Serene and Impulsive.
I don’t usually like yellow lacquers but that golden touch really makes a difference.
What a gorgeous collection! Fascinated is my favorite as well. :)
