I love Indie Theme Weeks – and this week, I’m going to be having a SuperChic Lacquer Week on my blog! Every day this week I will be showing you a collection or outstanding shade from the SuperChic Lacquer Shop!
I’m always excited about polishes that are unique to my collection! Lately it’s getting harder and harder to find those unique shades with my ever growing stash though. When I received the Grunge Glam Collection from SuperChic Lacquer – I originally thought “ok black base with glitter, no biggie”. When I applied them though, the matte base and slight texture along with the pops of color provided by the glitter made me realize “I have nothing like this in my collection!”
Ready to kick off SuperChic Lacquer Week?
Wretched Wench
Wretched Wench is inspired by the grungiest of steampunk lady fashions, a sub-genre science fiction version of the 19th century British Victorian era. A super matte black base polish zapped with various reds and brown metallic glitters
Wretched Wench is a black matte base with various sizes of red and brown hex glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats for this photo. The layers of hex glitters add a very slight texture to the polish, but not overly so. Below I will show a side view of the polish so you can see how “texturized” it is. It definitely isn’t gritty though – so if you don’t like the grit feel, you don’t have to worry with these.
Smutty Mermaid
Smutty Mermaid is a gorgeous mud-wrestling water nymph.
Smutty Mermaid is a black matte base with blue and green hex glitters in various sizes mixed in. I love the colors in Smutty Mermaid and how they look against the matte black base! I used 2 thin coats for this photo.
Dirty Girly
Dirty Girly represents the tomboy yet feminine girl that is super girly, outdoorsy and not afraid to get down and dirty!
Dirty Girly is a matte black base with various shades of matte pink and metallic pink hex glitters mixed in. I used 2 thin coats for this photo.
Duchess Of Dingebury
This Duchess is modeled after the Cinderella story. Although she is dusty and often looking tattered and torn from her daily chores, underneath it all she is true royalty!
Duchess of Dingebury is a black matte base with a mix of ice and royal blue multi-sized metallic hex glitters. I used 3 thin coats for this photo.
Overview
Application wise – no issues! All 4 shades smoothed on easily with a great amount of glitter distribution. They all have black matte bases, but they don’t dry super fast so you have time to paint your nails as normal without the worry of it “gunking up” on you. All 4 polishes reach full opacity at 2 coats, but I did 3 on some for a little more texture. As I said earlier, each shade has a very slight texture to it, but not a gritty texture. Overall, I really like these shades for the dark bases and pop of color the glitter gives!
Price: $10.00 Each

Nowadays, all architects and home decorators search for the best materials, at the lowest prices,
and with the highest resistance in time. It
is just documented as well as established information that something of
high class is expected to be costly, but these are exceptional.
The second stage in marble restoration is honing that makes the surface smooth but gives it minimal shine.
