Sunny’s Body Products Summer Exclusive Box Review

For over 2 years now I have worked with a lovely lady named Sunny on reviews.  Her shop is 365 Days of Color.  While I loved her polish, she really excels in body care products and has recently branched out into a seasonal subscription box.

I have the Summer 2014 box to share with you today and she will be restocking it again soon.  It actually sold out right away twice already… and those of you who already bought it… you won’t be disappointed!

Each box will contain 6 items that will have limited edition seasonal scents.  So while Sunny does carry an amazing selection for scents (well over 100), the scents within these boxes will ONLY be available in each box and never in the shop.

Let’s take a look at 5 of the 6 items in the Summer Box

Sunny’s Lip Saver in Tequila Sunrise

Sunny’s Lip Saver is the newest edition to the line of products Sunny carries in her shop.  I had the opportunity to try out her Lip Saver before she introduced it in her store, and it’s fantastic.  This lip balm glides onto the lips without being too thick or too thin and is fairly long lasting.  Tequila Sunrise is a mix of citrus that has hints of the popular summer drink.

Sunny’s Cuticle Oil in Hawaiian Suntan

I adore Sunny’s Cuticle Oil and own over 15 of them in various scents.  My coworkers (both male and female) have purchased them too after trying mine out or receiving from me as a gift.  I’m under strict orders from a few people to notify them when I’m making another purchase so they can tag onto my order.  They are that good.

Sunny’s Cuticle Oil is in a glass container with a roller ball applicator which makes it easy to use on the go.  Hawaiian Suntan  is a fruity paradise containing notes of creamy coconut, passion fruit, guava, pineapple, banana, melon, and grapefruit.

Sunny’s Miracle Balm in Beach Bum

Sunny’s Miracle Balm doesn’t get nearly enough love.  This is a super intensive cuticle balm, but can also be used on dry patches of skin like elbows and knees.  I use this after huge polish sessions as an overnight treatment to help my cuticles recover.

Beach Bum scent captures the essence of summer like no other fragrance by combining juicy mandarin, sand jasmine, and refreshing oceanic mist.

Sunny’s Hand Cream in Sun & Sand

Sunny’s Hand Cream is a product I also own a ton of.  I think I have 32 of them right now.  I love the creamy feel of them, the fact they moisturize, soak in fast and then leave a powdery soft feel after.  They last forever too because you only need a small amount of it with each use!

Sun & Sand scent is an ozony blend of florals and citrus, combining white flowers, bergamot, orange blossoms, ylang ylang, muguet lily, and a light musk base.

Sunny’s Hand Sugar Scrub in Paradise Reef

Sunny’s Hand Sugar Scrubs are amazing, and I don’t use them nearly enough.  I love using these at night before bed.  I use just a little to scrub my hands with, then apply some Sunny’s Hand Cream, and then a dab of Sunny’s Miracle Balm to my cuticles and I’m off to bed.  Amazing.

Paradise Reef scent is a sparkling fragrance with salt water and fresh air notes. Paradise Reef begins with notes of nectarine, bird of paradise, and water lily, followed by middle notes of passion flower, orchid, and hyacinth.

Sunny’s Intensive Cuticle Oil

I am missing ONE item from this box, which is the intensive cuticle oil!  Sunny was running low on it, and I have actually been using her intensive oils, so I knew they were amazing – so we decided to leave it out of my box so she didn’t run out.

Her Intensive Cuticle Oil is like her regular cuticle oil on steroids.  It’s wonderful!  My favorite scent for it is Stargazer Lily… and I won’t lie – this works well as a perfume too.  I love the scent and it works well as an intensive overnight treatment on your cuticles.

The Summer Box came with a full size Intensive Cuticle Oil in the scent Seaside, which is  tender beach floras lightly misted with the refreshing scent of ocean air, ripe succulent summer melon and the subtle familiar scent of suntan lotion.

Overview

As always, Sunny does an amazing job with packaging.  I received my box with a colorful lei, some pillow candies and colorful shredded paper.  All of the products were wrapped well, including strong electrical tape around each jar to prevent leaking.

All of the scents within the box smelled divine and are exclusive to the Summer Box, so on the bright side, you get exclusive scents… but if you happen to fall in love with the scents, you may have to bug Sunny to see if she has anything close to them.  Luckily her products last a long time (a little goes a long way with all of them) so it will be a bit before you have to beg.
