Stella Chroma | Cinnamon & Spice

Cinnamon & Spice is a warm medium brown matte base with tons of pink shimmer. I used 2 coats and no top coat.

Stella Chroma | Flannel & Boots

Flannel & Boots is a dusty, medium teal matte base with white and blue flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Stella Chroma | Pumpkin Everything

Pumpkin Everything is a pumpkin orange matte base with strong green shimmer flecks. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Stella Chroma | Perseids

Perseids is just like the night sky! This is a matte navy blue base with silver holographic flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Stella Chroma | Gala

Gala is a cool toned, matte red base with iridescent micro flecks mixed in. Probably my favorite of the set! I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Stella Chroma | You Blockhead!

Named by Mr Stella Chroma – this is a shimmery yellow matte shade. When Mr SC saw it, he said “That’s the yellow of Charlie Brown’s shirt. It should be called You Blockhead!”

I used 3 thin coats and no top coat for these photos.

Stella Chroma Fall 2018 Mattes

I love matte polishes. Well, let me rephrase – I love well done matte polishes and these are definitely done well. When you apply them, they apply like beautifully pigmented jelly polishes. You have time to apply to the nail and cover the entire nail without worrying about it starting to dry. Once I apply polish to the final nail on one hand, the first finger is starting to mattify. Because you have time to work with them, you get a super smooth, matte finish like you see in my photos. No dragging, no self leveling issues – just a clean, smooth finish. Easily some of the best mattes I’ve ever received to work with. I honestly hope that Stella Chroma follows this up with Winter, Spring and Summer mattes as well. This formula is incredible.
