I’m still playing catch up – and next up tonight we’re going to take a look at the Starlight Polish Mythological Opal Collection!

We’ve seen several installations of Starlight Polish’s Mythological series – and this is an amazing addition! These 5 shades are densely packed toppers with various aurora shimmers and matching iridescent flakes. For all 5 of these shades I used Starlight Polish Obsidian as a base coat. It’s an incredible 1 coat black creme that dries down to a satin like finish.

Let’s jump right into the newest Starlight Polish additions!

Phoenix Opal

Phoenix Opal is a topper with red to green shifting aurora flakes and the same red to green shifting unicorn pee pigment. I used 1 coat over Obsidian and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dragon Opal

Dragon Opal is an effects top coat with gold to green shifting aurora flakes and the same gold to green shifting Unicorn Pee sibling pigment.  I used 1 coat over Obsidian and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Unicorn Opal

Unicorn Opal is an effect top coat with green to blue shifting aurora flakes and the same green to blue shifting unicorn pee sibling shimmer.   I used 1 coat over Obsidian and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Kelpie Opal

Kelpie Opal is an effects top coat with green to teal to violet shifting aurora flakes and the same green to  teal to violet shifting unicorn pee sibling shimmer.  I used 1 coat over Obsidian and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Chimera Opal

Chimera Opal is an effects top coat with a combination of all four types of aurora flakes shown in the shades above, as well as the same unicorn pee and unicorn pee sibling shimmer.  I used 1 coat over Obsidian and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Starlight Polish Mythological Opal Collection

This might be my favorite addition to the Mythological series. If you aren’t familiar, you can find these types of shifting toppers in a variety of finishes – from shimmers to glitters – but the densely packed mix of flakes and shimmer is incredible! I had no application issues with any of these.
