Happy Friday! I am knee deep in swatching, but taking a little time away to share the Stardust Collaboration November 2020 themed Our Favorite Things!

This month it will be a duo box. As Ethereal Lacquer has stepped away, Kathleen & Co and guest maker Girly Bits Cosmetics have continued on with the show. As guest maker, Girly Bits wanted the theme to be Our Favorite Things!

I will show both shades alone, and then layered together… so let’s jump in. This duo is on sale now at both Kathleen & Co’s shop as well as Girly Bits’ shop.

Kathleen & Co | The Night Sky

The Night Sky was inspired by Kathleen & Co’s love of looking at the night sky. This is a blackened blue creme base loaded with blue to purple shifting shimmer, and there is a subtle sprinkling of holo micro flecks to represent the stars. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Girly Bits | The Good Ice

The Good Ice was inspired by Pam’s love for her new ice machine.

Side note: I want an ice machine to make the little pebble ice and Nick shook his head since I generally drink straight out of the can/bottle.

The Good Ice is a sheer icy blue tinted base loaded with aqua to turquoise to blue to violet shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity, however – if you have a strong VNL, it’s possible it will still show through.

I layered 1 coat over The Good Ice over The Night Sky and rather enjoy the result!

Stardust Collaboration November 2020 | Our Favorite Things

I really love that these look beautiful alone, but also layered together. As a duo, they work well together and I really enjoy the simplicity of Our Favorite Things… and ice maker and the night sky. If I was a polish maker, I’d probably overcomplicate a theme like this… or it would be something like chocolate. Or cake… ohh cake. I’m cutting out sugars (cause it’s obviously the time of year to do that…) so I have intense cravings right now.
