Happy Friday! Today the next Stardust Collaboration for April 2022 will release… and the theme is Rose Gold!
To reiterate my explanation of this box from a previous post:
I feel like a lot of time has passed by and it warrants an explanation on the box. I don’t know how often these will be done. I know at one time it was monthly – and there was talks of every other month… and I think that’s what they are going with? Heck – this might be a “whenever inspiration strikes” box. We’ll see.
Basically – this will be a box of (usually) 3 polishes. The 2 main makers (right now) are Rogue Lacquer and Kathleen & Co, and then there will be a guest maker. The guest maker for April 2022 is Cuticula.
Unfortunately – this will be Rogue Lacquer’s final box. I’m not sure who will be replacing Rogue Lacquer – but I’m sure Kathleen & Co will find someone good.
Each month the box will have a theme, and this month is Rose Gold.
For all photos I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base and Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce. I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I work during the day and weekend afternoons I’m with Nick and Jacob, so I do most swatching when the sun is setting or gone. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Rogue Lacquer | Is It Real Gold?
Rogue Lacquer brings us Is It Real Gold? and this is a clear base packed with red to gold to fuchsia color shifting flakes, as well as copper flakes, holo flakes and a rose pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I do thinner coats, so despite the flake content, i didn’t need anything more than a coat of glossy top coat to smooth. If you do thicker coats – there is a possibility you will need a glitter smoothing topper or 2 coats of thicker top coat for a smooth finish.
Kathleen & Co | Whole Lotta Rosey
Kathleen & Co brings us Whole Lotta Rosey, which is a warm rose pink tight linear holo with rose gold micro flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a very smooth holo with what I call “fluid” linear with how it appears. Think almost like AEngland style holos but just a touch different with finish.
Cuticula | Jewelry Box
Cuticula brings us Jewelry Box, which is a pale, dusty mint green crelly base with orange to gold to green shifting shimmer, rose gold flakes and silver holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
