I just recently (very recently… as in this morning) posted the July 2014 Square Hue subscription box review, which took us to Barcelona! Now I will be showing you the August 2014 Square Hue box, and we are headed to Beverly Hills!
Each Square Hue box has a theme and Square Hue creates the 3 shades included in each box in house, PLUS they donate a portion of their sales to a charity.
Let’s take a look at August 2014… Beverly Hills!
Wilshire Boulevard
Wilshire Boulevard is a gorgeous navy blue with fine micro shimmer. I used 2 coats for these photos and a top coat.
Rodeo Drive
Rodeo Drive is a beautiful toned down gold micro glitter shade that looks like a foil polish. I used 2 coats, and although VERY light brush strokes are visible, this is my favorite of the 3 in this box. I used 2 coats for these photos, no top coat.
Canon Drive
This is the only polish in the collection with a Beverly Hills area that I don’t recognize. Canon Drive is a purple metallic micro shimmer shade. It does leave minor brush strokes which are visible, but not annoying. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Overview
This is my second Square Hue box, and overall I liked this one as well. The polishes look really nice, have a nice assortment of colors and quality was really good. Much like with the July Box, I like that the box had a theme (Beverly Hills) and that a portion of sales go to charity.
