Shimmer Polish Julie, Natalie & Wendy Swatches and Review

Press Sample

I have a ton of gorgeous Shimmer Polishes to share with all of you!  I’m separating the polishes into groups of 3 and 4 for posting – but over the next couple weeks you will get to feast your eyes on 17 different, sparkling creations! If you haven’t used Shimmer Polish before – you should give it a try!  All of the glittery polishes can be used layered over another polish or layered over itself for a full coverage sparkly effect.

Today I’ll be showing you Julie, Natalie and Wendy!

Julie:

Julie is a fun mix of multicolored glitter in silver, red, purple, aqua, green, gold and fuchsia!  This can be layered over just about any color!  I used one coat over Dior Bahia Pink from the Birds of Paradise duo.

Natalie:

Natalie is a mix of blue, copper and turquoise glitter in a clear base.  I used 1 coat of Natalie over China Glaze Keepin’ It Teal!

I love this shot of Natalie!  Very toned down glitter polish with a great mix of colors!

Wendy:

And my favorite of the 3!  WENDY!  Shimmer Polish Wendy is a mix of aqua, coppery orange and purple glitters in a clear base!  I decided to do a reverse gradient for this one!  I started with a base of Sinful Colors All The Rage and added Wendy along the base of my nails.  I used 2 thin coats for the gradient effect!

All of Shimmer Polishes creations are packed full of different combinations of glitter, and I have yet to come across one I’ve been disappointed with!  Application was great, none of the glitters were “taco’ing” or bleeding!  Great quality for all the glitter lovers out there!  The 3 in this post needed 2 coats of top coat for a smooth feel to the nail (I know some like to know that!) but with just 1 coat of top coat, it still isn’t that “chunky” feeling!

Shimmer Polish retails for $12 and can be purchased in the Shimmer Polish Etsy Shop.

You can also find Shimmer Polish in the Harlow & Co shop!
