It’s almost time for the Shimmer Me Box for August 2018 to drop, and I have it on the blog to share with you tonight! Things have been crazy hectic around here, so I’m getting this up later than planned, but still before launch – so I’ll still count this as a win.

The  constant makers in the Shimmer Me Box are Colors by Llarowe and Native War Paints, however – Colors by Llarowe has taken the month off. For August 2018 we have 3 guest makers and they are Pampered Polishes, Turtle Tootsie Polishes and Sassy Cats Lacquer.

The theme for August is Davinci!  Let’s see what each maker has in store for us!

Native War Paints | Hold My Ermine

Hold My Ermine is a medium, slightly pink leaning red jelly base packed with blue to purple to orange shifting shimmer, gold flakes and gold holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes | Mundi, Mundi

Mundi, Mundi is a black jelly base with a scattered holographic and gold shimmer, as well as gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sassy Cats Lacquer | Sacred Artistry

Sacred Artistry is a gorgeous deep blue jelly base with green shimmer and iridescent flecks, as well as matte black hex glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pampered Polishes | Little Madonna

Little Madonna is a medium teal creme base with strong fuchsia shimmer, scattered holo and bronze to gold to green ultra chrome chameleon flakes that are sparsely scattered in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is just barely a touch greener in person.

I do miss Colors by Llarowe this month, but I think Shimmer Me Box found 3 strong indies to make up for her absence this month. It also gave me a chance to try Sassy Cats Lacquer for the first time and Pampered Polishes for the second time! Turtle Tootsie has been on the blog several times before, so it’s always a pleasure to work with her.
