Yesterday a new month of Indie Pickup opened, and it’s incredible! The September 2018 Indie Pickup theme is Horror Movies, and while I’m not a fan of horror movies, I can certainly appreciate the creativity behind these indie gems!

Okay, so what’s Indie Pickup? If you are familiar with Polish Pickup, then you know it kind of blew up in the last year. We were seeing over 100 polishes and products in the shop (and still are) which is incredible. The ladies behind the Polish Pickup concept decided to split the products from the polish. You will still see some fan favorites in Polish Pickup (this last month we did have about 10 products mixed in with the polish) but the majority of products will now be featured in Indie Pickup (there’s the Facebook group, join it!)

Let’s jump in. I’m already a little behind since I’m one of the Polish Pickup October bloggers… and well my life is chaotic to begin with.

This might be the funniest product I’ve ever received.

Bluebird Lacquer | Bird Wax Tart

Inspiration: The Birds

Description: Bluebird Lacquer wax tart in Rotten inspired by the classic Hitchcock film The Birds. The scent is floral but earthy, it’s balanced and not too overpowering on either side. I would say it’s a more mature scent and not the flirty floral type.
