Savor Red Velvet Cake Whipped Soap Creme Fraiche Review

by Lisa Heath

I have another yummy smelling item to show you today!  I told you a little about OpenSky.com yesterday, but for those who missed it – it’s an online marketplace with loads of amazing products!

Today I am showing you Savor Red Velvet Cake Whipped Soap Creme Fraiche.

Savor

First thing I want to say… HOLY WOW at the smell of this!  It smells dead on like Red Velvet Cake.  I even had my coworkers smell it and they said that if the label didn’t say “soap” they would think it was frosting!

Scent Description: The warm and rich scent of cocoa and coconut — red sugar and buttery cake. So decadent but without any of the calories! Red Velvet’s scent is strong and yummy

I received a 2 oz container, but this is also available in an 8 oz jar.

Now a little more about the product.  This is a whipped soap.  It isn’t a jar of fluffiness like most “whipped” products are, but it does have a creamier feeling than the normal bar soaps.  A little goes a long way and I just needed a pea size amount to wash my hands, and about a teaspoon full for a full body wash.  It lathers pretty well too!  Not as much as commercial soaps, but still a good amount to see that it is lathering up! The scent left behind is a mix of Red Velvet Cake and a clean soapy scent.    My hands were incredibly smooth, but at the same time felt like the skin was tighter (but not the dry feeling).

Savor’s Whipped Soap can also be used as a shave cream (I tried it as a shaving cream last night and it was PERFECT!), bubble bath and for some hair types – a shampoo!

What is Creme Fraiche Whipped Soap?: In culinary terms, creme fraiche is a thick, rich, velvety cream. Savor’s whipped soap is a bubbly interpretation of this French specialty.

Ingredient List: distilled water , glycerin, sorbitol, sodium cocoyl isethionate, disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate, sodium chloride, phenoxyethanol, tetrasodium edta, sweet almond oil,  fragrance and color

Price: $4.50 for 2 oz jar, $10.00 for a 8 oz jar

Shipping Cost: $1.50 for the 2 oz jar, $3.00 for the 8 oz jar

Where to Buy: OpenSky.com

Make sure you check out the other lovely scents Savor carries on OpenSky.com!  I spotted Sweet Pumpkin Whipped Sugar Soap and Body Butter that would be so perfect for Fall!

Is this a product you would be interested in trying?  I love fun little cute items like this!

Yes! I know it wouldn’t work well as a shampoo for my hair type – but Nick is going to try it in his!

As do I! But seriously – for the price and the scent… I’d still be perfectly fine if it only acted as a soap!

Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if itt can survive a twenty five foot drop, just so she can bbe a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
