Press Sample for Salon Perfect Spring 2018 Peaches & Creme Collection
Now that tax season is coming to a close, I had a little time to go through more samples I’ve received and swatch and post them! I have some time off coming up, so even more will be coming your way soon. Today I have the Salon Perfect Spring 2018 Peaches & Creme Collection to share!
For Spring, Salon Perfect went the peaches and creme route and they have super light shades to medium to bright that have that warm sweet vibe. Some were difficult to photograph (I’m looking at the bright shades) but were a lot of fun to play with.
I definitely found some favorites in here, but there were a couple shades that just didn’t work with my cool toned skin – which is normal with peachy type shades. Luckily they included a nice mix so both cool toned and warm toned shades can be found. For those of you with neutral undertones… I’m jealous.
If you aren’t familiar with Salon Perfect, this is a Walmart Exclusive brand, so you can find them there!
Let’s jump right in!
Pillow Talk
I’m going to need more bottles of this one. If you like white polish as a base, but don’t like the harshness – this is what you need. Pillow Talk is a soft white creme that reminds me of a soft marshmallow. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I did float the polish on, if you add pressure it might cause streaks and you’ll need 3 coats.
Eat Your Heart Out
Eat Your Heart Out is like a lightly pink tinged white creme. It’s described as a soft petal pink – but when they say soft – they mean it. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Double Dip
Double Dip is a pale peach creme. This is another incredibly light shade that I enjoyed and think it would make a beautiful base color for nail art in the coming months instead of using a stark white.
She’s A Peach
She’s A Peach is a pastel peach that dries down almost matte. I left it as is and did 2 coats. I did have some self leveling issues with this shade, but usually with how mild it is – the top coat would have made it less obvious.
Practice What You Peach
Practice What You Peach is a peachy coral creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In the bottle I wasn’t too keen on this color, but when I put it on – I fell in love with it.
Under The Tuscan Sun
Under The Tuscan Sun is a medium rosy pink creme. Another shade that I was okay with but really loved it on. Perfect office safe type shade too. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Strawberry Spritzer
Strawberry Spritzer is a bright strawberry pinkish red creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is slightly pinker in person. It reacted like a neon to my camera so it didn’t photograph correctly.
Sweet Peach Sangria
Sweet Peach Sangria is a bright peachy orange creme. Again -it photographed like a neon and it pulled VERY orange in my photos. It has more of a pinky tinge to it in person. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Salon Perfect Spring 2018 Peaches & Creme Collection
I’ve been a Salon Perfect fan for several years and generally pick up a couple each time I’m at Walmart. They are affordable and have really nice application. Plus – Summer will be here soon so some of the best neons will be available soon!
The Salon Perfect Spring 2018 Peaches & Creme Collection was a nicely done, but obviously it’s heavily favoring specific color families, which can be difficult for people who prefer blues, purples and greens. I’m not really specific about any color family and generally do a little of everything, so it doesn’t bother me.
My Top Picks: Pillow Talk, Strawberry Spritzer, Practice What You Peach and Under The Tuscan Sun
Price: $3.98 Each

What a lovely spring collection! Each color is so beautiful!
I love light peaches but they don’t always look good on me which is a shame since some of these are gorgeous. I never knew much about Salon Perfect but I’ll make it a stop now at Walmart.
Under The Tuscan Sun is absolutely my favorite. That shade and the movie w/ the same title!
Under The Tuscan Sun is my kind of shade!
I loove how creamy and smooth these look!!!
I love the two brightest colors
Very pretty – I’m especially loving the first three! Was Double Dip also a three-coaster?
