Press Sample of Sally Hansen Summer 2016
Royal Splendor Partial Collection
Tonight I have the Sally Hansen Summer 2016 Royal Splendor Partial Collection to show you. There are 7 new shades in this Miracle Gel collection, and I have 3 of them to share with you.
The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line is their ‘hybrid’ gel polish. You get longer wear, shiny color without the need for a special curing light. The Miracle Gel™ 2X Volume Top Coat must be used in tandem with the Miracle Gel shades to experience the long-lasting benefits of its no-light curing technology.
I’ve used this line before and typically I get 6-8 days of wear out of it, but I’m pretty tough on my hands. I type a lot (outside of the blog I type regularly at work, plus lots of papers and files to deal with) and I regularly do dishes and some cleaning around the house, so I don’t always get the time frame that’s suggested by brands.
Let’s take a closer look at the 3 shades I have.
Frill Seeker
Frill Seeker is a perfect nude for me. This is a light creamy beige with a hint of peach. I used 2 coats and top coat for these photos.
Off With Her Red
Off With Her Red is a vibrant, true red. I used 2 coats and top coat for these photos.
Prince Char-mint
Prince Char-mint is a perfect mint creme. I used 2 coats and top coat for these photos.
Of the 3 shades I received, this was my favorite!
Sally Hansen Summer 2016 Royal Splendor Partial Collection Overview
Application with all 3 of these were really nice and I reached full opacity in just 2 coats. I had no issues with the 3 shades I received and am quite happy with the color selection. Prince Char-mint is my favorite, but all 3 are completely wearable for my skin tone.
Price: $9.99 Each
Availability: The Miracle Gel™ Royal Splendor Collection hits shelves beginning July 2016.
As I said in the title, this is only a partial showing of this collection. There are 7 shades total, and here are the ones I don’t have right now:
● Plush Blush This powder pink features a Hall Of Mirrors-esque iridescence
● Regal Rosé Wine and dine — or let them eat cake — in a sparkling pale peony
● Mauve-olous Take the throne in this beige-tinged medium-pink tone
● Can’t Beet Royalty Bring it to the boudoir in this rich maroon
I do plan on picking up Plush Blush and Can’t Beet Royalty soon.
So what are your thoughts? Do any of these shades interest you?
