It’s been one of those weekends. First off, I don’t cook. I try to and it’s edible, but not great. Nick loves cooking and he’s wonderful at it (I know, I snagged me a man that has dinner ready when I get home from work.) Well yesterday morning Jacob wanted something for breakfast, and I was like “I got this!” Well… I don’t got this. While cutting something the knife slipped and … I’m missing a chunk of skin on the pad of my middle finger on my swatching hand. It hurts. It’s not super deep or stitches worthy – but… it hurts.
Why this story? Well… I still had swatching to do. In some poses, part of the missing chunk IS visible – so I edited it out. I’m not a great editor. If you see a fuzzy blur – I’m not being weird, I’m saving you from seeing it.
Anyways – tonight we’re going to be looking at the Rogue Lacquer The Happy Rainbows Collection, minus the finger chunk missing.

Korgi Undercover is a cherry red jelly base with red to green shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is more cherry red in person.

Believe In Magic is a bright tangerine orange jelly base with green to gold shifting shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lemon Scented Life is a bright sunny yellow jelly base with blue to green to indigo color shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jeepin’ is a grass green jelly base with green to purple color shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Rogue Lacquer | Whales Chat Too
Whales Chat Too is a bright sapphire blue jelly base with blue to turquoise color shifting shimmers mixed in. This has more of a turquoise look to it in person when the light hits the shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Rogue Lacquer | The Rainbow Connection
The Rainbow Connection is a grape purple jelly base loaded wtih blue to purple color shifting shimmers. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is the sheerest shade in the collection.

The Lovers, The Dreamers And Me is a soft orchid purple jelly base with purple to pink to gold color shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Rogue Lacquer | The Happy Rainbows Collection
Despite being a jelly collection – most of these had incredible opacity and I only needed 2 coats for 6 of the 7 shades. I had no application issues at all, and they are a lovely collection. I think most like this I have are straight jellies or holo – so having a shimmer set is a nice addition.
