Rimmel London recently released a cute set of lip balms with the catchy name Keep Calm And Lip Balm! Of course when I saw them my first thought was “I need them all!” and eventually I will get them all, but I haven’t found the remaining 3. I see them online, but I would rather pick them up in person if possible.
Here is what the company had to say about these new lip items:
WHAT IT IS: A nourishing balm with a fresh hint of a tint for an alluring just-bitten effect. When lips are lacking luscious care and color, don’t panic—Keep Calm and Lip Balm, the latest lip-loving product from Rimmel London. Available in six shades that are packed with personality, this longwear balm is enriched with is enriched with moisturizing oils to help heal dry and cracked lips. The unique formula locks in moisture while softening and nurturing lips, increasing lip moisture by 22%*, so your pucker will always be en pointe. Never let your lips let you down. Keep calm and get the London look.
I have Keep Calm and Shop (clear), Keep Calm and Play (rose blush) and Keep Calm and Party (violet blush) to show you today.
Keep Calm and Shop
Keep Calm and Shop is the “clear” offering in the group, but it wasn’t completely clear, it’s an incredibly sheer nude shade. I found this to apply nicely, but within 10 minutes it felt a little dry on the lips. Not dry like a matte lipstick would, but like I applied a powder over a gloss. It wasn’t uncomfortable, I just didn’t find it very moisturizing.
Keep Calm and Play
Keep Calm and Play is a sheer rose blush. This one applied nicely, but to get a decent amount of color I did need to go over my lips 4-5 times. I found this one to be a little more moisturizing and actually felt like I had a light balm on.
Keep Calm and Party
Keep Calm and Party is a sheer violet blush. This is actually my favorite of the 3 and adds a bit more of a color tint to my lips. I found the formula to be like Keep Calm and Play.
Rimmel London Keep Calm and Lip Balm Overview
Personally, I like these but I don’t love them performance wise. I find them to be more cute and novelty like. None of the 3 I received are overly drying, but I didn’t find them to be like most lip balms in the moisturizing department. Will I still buy the remaining 3? Yes. I love novelty items. They are good for a light pop of color, especially for this time of year.
Price: $2.50 Each
Where To Purchase: Chain drug stores and mass retailers nationwide. Visit Rimmel London Online for store locations
The 3 shades I’m missing are Keep Calm and Kiss, Keep Calm and Rock and Keep Calm and Love. I am on the hunt for these, I like cutesy stuff like this and I didn’t find the product bad for the price. If you are looking for a product to really feel moisturizing though, I would look for another product.

These are so adorable. I’d buy all just for the packaging!
The packaging on those is so cute!
I want these just for the packaging! Keep Calm and Party has a nice tint.
I have looked and looked and looked, but I’ve yet to find them anywhere!
I love these, and have the same three shades!
These new balms are just so cute! Love the graphics!
The packaging is super cute but I wish they delivered more color than they seem to.
These are adorable, and I like that they give you a slight tint. :)
I saw them once at a CVS hanging on the side of a display. My blog partner reviewed them and found the smell to be offensive, I wonder if she got a bad batch.
Possibly – the scent was fairly normal, nothing offensive at all for me
These are cute, and I love the name, but I’m so surprised by the sheer color payoff. The purple is so much less scary than it appears in the tube!
Ok besides the awesome packaging I love the tints! I need all of them!
I love the packaging!
I haven’t seen these in my stores yet but have been seeing them online. The packaging is so fun.
It’s too bad they’re not more hydrating, but they are definitely cute!
